- BudmanriLincoln, RI958 contributionsPre Booked tickets on line $10. Pretty cool 50 minute Blackstone Valley River tour from Central Falls .Captain did a great job. Guide on boat was also excellent and very knowledgeable.Fortunately not too crowded so we all could hear his narration. Might be better if he had a microphone with a small speaker . - Kendall M2 contributionsWe went on a whale watching trip. The captain worked very hard to get us as safely close to the whales as possible. I don’t remember his name but the crew member who is also a teacher was amazing!! He was very personable, allowed us to run back to our car for something before hand. We were cutting it close on time and we’re a little frantic getting on board. He assured us they will usually wait up to 5 minutes for someone. I wasn’t impressed with the office workers. We live 2 hours away and got stuck in traffic. When I realized we were going to be cutting it close, not late just close, I called to explain the situation. The woman I spoke with was rude and not at all helpful. She made me feel hopeless, we almost turned around and went back home. I’m so glad we didn’t because like I said, when we got there the school teacher crew member made us feel secure that we were not a burden. The only other negative thing I have to say was the younger crew member (maybe 18) was vaping inside the cabin. - Catherine A.4 contributions401 Oyster Co is a must have at your event. We have used them for events at our house and we used them for our wedding at Shepherd’s Run. The oysters and shrimp were delicious and so fresh. The shucker was friendly, professional and fast! We are very discerning with our oysters and without a doubt these are some of the best in New England. They were perfectly shucked and the presentation was clean. - daviddQ8181ESVernon, CT150 contributionsI had never been on a horse before, so I will give this a Very Good rating because I really enjoyed it. Just rode up on bikes and asked about a horse ride. We were able to go without a reservation due to a prior party that did not show up, good timing for us.
The prior review is accurate. We too were on an adventure and enjoyed ourselves. The beach walk took about 1 hour 20 minutes, so we got our monies worth. The owners daughter was very nice and was a great guide. I would to back and do it again and would recommend them. - Michelle2 contributionsSecond year going out with jackhammer charters and wouldn’t go with anyone else! We always have such an amazing time and never a dull moment! You never know what you’re going to catch but you’ll definitely catch some fish!!!! I highly recommend using his charter if you want to experience an amazing day out on the ocean!
