I have to say that having a licensed battlefield guide to provide a one-on-one tour of the Gettysburg National Military Park makes the experience much more rewarding, intimate, and instructive.
The morning started with indoor training on how to ride a Segway (if you haven't ridden one yet, they are super easy and so fun to ride, and the staff at SegTours do a great job helping you learn how to ride).
We have already decided to return in the future to explore the Eastern Battlefield as well as customizing things a bit by adding on perhaps Oak Hill, East Cavalry Field, and the South Cavalry Field.

From our phone conversation with Mary about where to find their location in Bird-in-Hand to the easy walk-in sign-up with Nikki to the 3 hour tour, everything was wonderful!
Chris aka young Ben Franklin guided our group of 10 extended family members, including 5 teens, around the historic district on a warm, sunny July day.
He made the hot muggy weather inconsequential as he brought history to life in a way that was relevant to a cross section of people on the tour as well as the occasional passerby.
