We went here on a Thursday morning as our first major event on our summer road trip. Admission was reasonable, staff was friendly and venue was easy to navigate and a good size. There is one room where you can play guitar, drums or piano but you have to watch a video which I didn't have the patience for. Lots of cool exhibits and music plays throughout the museum. My only gripe was that they did not have on site parking or at least I didn't see it. I had to park in a lot and put in for two hours, so I felt a bit rushed.

My experience was awesome! There was a couple things that disappointing though. For example, the pipe scream was closed. The wait of wild mouse was 1 hour and 30 minutes. I know that ride is popular and usually busy, but the line was really long. The Gemini broke down for about 15-20 minutes , but it was up and running again soon after. The sky ride was not the best. Other than that it was pretty good! The Gemini, wild mouse, iron dragon, wind seeker, the monsters, gatekeeper, and other was super fun and staff for the gatekeeper was nice. The wait for the Gemini was only 15 minutes which was not bad. Also, a little tip is when you are riding Gemini is to push back when you go back to the station because it stops really hard. My cedar point experience was great, food was great ( I highly recommend the pizza. ) Awesome experience!

We originally were going to the Wright Museum and ended up here first. What an amazing museum! The number of aircraft is astounding and the history is overwhelming. I would highly recommend it to anyone interested in aviation!

Excellent Cleveland attraction with something for everyone: paintings, sculptures, beautiful furniture, archeology artifacts, Faberge, and Louis Comfort Tiffany. Cafe inside the courtyard to rest and recharge if attempting to visit the entire museum in one visit. As it is free, if you do become museum’d out, also possible to split your visit across multiple days. Cleveland Botanical Gardens is also within walking distance so possible to park once and visit both.

The trip to the Christmas Story house was outstanding!!
Be sure to check in at the gift shop when you get there. We had tickets ahead of time that we purchased online so we were not sure where to check in.
The tour starts inside the house. First they give you facts about the movie and the house. Next they allow you to go through the house and recreate scenes and take pictures etc. You are only in the house for a half hour including when the guide gives you the facts about the house etc. So make sure you plan your time accordingly so that you get to go through the whole house.
Because we wanted to recreate a few scenes we felt kind of rushed at the end. That is why I wanted to include that in my review for those that want to plan ahead.

Then you go out into the backyard and next you go over to the museum. For me I would have rather spent more time in the house then in the museum. While I enjoyed the facts in the museum the house was definitely the bigger attraction for us! My suggestion would be to extend the time in the house by about 15 minutes or have two tour guides and break up the group that wanted to go to the museum sooner.

All in all a fantastic trip and one you should definitely make!! Make sure you make the trip back to the house at night so you can see the leg lamp and house lit up. I am glad my husband thought to do this!! It made for wonderful pictures

Chihuly fans should visit this garden. Friends of the garden purchased multiple works of art that are displayed in and around the conservatories. There was a temporary exhibit of model trains which was an unexpected bonus - artfully displayed with some whimsical features so entertaining for kids, too. The cafe had some very moist blueberry scones which were delicious. The gardens closed early on our visit for the annual staff appreciation event - it was nice to see the staff being recognized through the event though not open to the public. If staying in downtown Columbus, you can get to the gardens via COTA #10 bus with reasonable service up/down Broad Street with a bus stop within easy walking distance of the entrance.

Reds won in 11 innings versus Milwaukee 4-3. The Skyline chili parlor on the third base side was closed so we had to walk to the first base side. At the exterior shop I found a hat for the year. The food was good but Montgomery inn had no ribs.

This is a huge shopping complex in Easton, Ohio. All kinds of restaurants and shops and art installation and little mini parks throughout the complex. It is fun to walk around and also listen to little bands that are set up here and there as well as he miniature toy train displays. Lot of interactive things for kids. They are also well-known and famous for their telephone booths that are decorated in various ways. a lot of walking is involved. Parking is free.
