- arubaphilKinnelon, NJ587 contributionsThe Grounds for Sculpture is 42 acres of beautiful gardens, sculpture and lifelike statues of people in lifelike tableaus. The sculptures are a mix of small and large, traditional and modern, famous works of art and tableaus of people in daily life settings and famous artists painting their surroundings. The day requires a lot of walking, but the paths are easy to manage. Other on-site features are a visitor and information center, ceramics building, museum, casual cafe, and gift shop. Additionally, Rat's, a beautiful contemporary French restaurant is also located on the grounds. The gardens are a great way to spend a few hours exploring nature and art.Written May 12, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - DoctorM-SquaredWashington DC, DC34 contributionsThere is no way you should ever be bored in this area of the planet. There is something for everyone in your group, young, old, in between, active, sedentary, or even wheelchair-bound. There are a lot of mom and pop type shops on restaurants. I found it enjoyable and relaxing. A great place to run, too.Written March 12, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - thegeneral2 contributionsA hidden gem in New Jersey!! THE best kept secret in New Jersey, I would give more than 5 stars if possible!! FREE admission and FREE parking?! Awesomeness!! Great informative exhibits, clean, spacious grounds, and LOTS of animals to see! Loved, loved, loved it! They exist by donations, I was so impressed I gave twice!! Thanks for not trying to rip off consumers like almost every business anywhere! A must see if you are in South Jersey.Written May 30, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- heikkih722Helsinki, Finland1,497 contributionsThis New Jersey park has a good view of the Statue of Liberty and New York's Manhattan and the Ellis Island museum buildings. The parking lots are free and at least in November there was plenty of space. There is also a Liberation Monument in the park.Written November 13, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Carol KGlenshaw, PA2 contributionsThe Penn State Master Gardener maintained gardens on the corner with the war memorial on Babcock Blvd. are a beautiful and educational place to visit, the expanded pollinator garden has its own special vibe and is located next to the new meadow area with a hill to climb, if so inclined, to see better the view of the gardens and North Park lake. Many wedding and wildlife, flower photos have been taken at this site, so this is great for anyone interested in photography !Written September 12, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Richard GCape May County, NJ34 contributionsSunset Beach at Cape May point is probably one of the best places to spend the day! Their gift shops are filled with lots of goodies, even Wine and great presents like Cape May diamond jewelry! Mini Golf is a lot of fun there as well! No tags for the beach and plenty of parking. They have a Flag Ceremony during the summer for deceased Vets, very moving. - Jeff G6 contributionsHave been here several times over the many years. It is a good and a fun zoo. There are lots of animals that you might not see in the wild around here and also the animals appear healthy (in general) and well cared for.

- WendyNew Jersey103 contributionsDuke Farms is our favorite local park. The numerous trails and water features make for a great day of exploration. True, the Duke house is long gone, but much of the history remains. Over the years I have been somewhat disappointed with features that have been eliminated - tram tours and closed on Sundays and Mondays- or left to deteriorate - Orchid house. Fall and Winter Saturdays are a special treat with little to no crowds. The bike rentals are terrific!Written February 18, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
