... excellent classical music concerts during weekdays at Ozawa Hall, the beautiful concert venue based upon Symphony Hall in Boston, and on weekends in the Shed, featuring the wonderful Boston Symphony Orchestra.
The young musicians were simply amazing and the evening performance featuring the BSO, The Tanglewood Symphony Orchestra and the Boston Pops was one of the finest performances of its type that I have ever attended.
How lucky can you get to watch the master himself, John Williams, conduct the fabulous Boston Pops Orchestra performing great movie hits from Indiana Jones, Star Wars, ET, Close Encounters, etc.
Extremely good performers with varied programs with visiting artists, theme nights like swing or movie night and famous Xmas holiday concerts, performed outdoors in late spring through July 4th too.
A tastefully simple and beautiful hall with great acoustics also happens to be the home of a world-class orchestra.
Beautiful and acoustically wonderful- we saw the Boston Pops Summer of 69 concert with Arlo Guthrie.
