A comfortable, intimate theater with an excellent cast and orchestra made it an exceptional evening.
There was a time, when one looked to the Williamstown Theatre Festival for big, bold and expertly attenuated productions of classic plays and musicals.
I felt very loved, and then heard a magnificent concert with the Tanglewood chorus (Bach), a violin concerto (Berg), and Shostakovich's 5th symphony.
The BSO's Children performances are your ticket to a beautiful venue and early shows have the opportunity to meet musicians and touch and possibly play instruments.
Extremely good performers with varied programs with visiting artists, theme nights like swing or movie night and famous Xmas holiday concerts, performed outdoors in late spring through July 4th too.
We traveled from Michigan specifically for this concert and it was wonderful and exceeded our expectations.

Mechanics Hall Worcester
Extraordinary theater with many excellent community based and FREE concerts (the brown bag lunch is a real jewel) - handicapped access is above and beyond - beautifully restored interior
They always have variety of programs...whether it be concerts, graduation ceremonies, naturalization (for citizenship) ceremonies, "brown bag" concerts, and my favorites Men of Song acapella & holiday concerts.
The special effects are awesome; the acting is superb and the space is awesome! the stage is in the center so everyone in the theater gets to see everything!
From "Grease" and "Footloose" to a "Christmas Carol" and from matinee shows with the kids in the summer and singing along with the Beach Boys we have enjoyed the variety, the talent and the ambiance of the Theatre.
Talented actors and actresses and a wonderful summer theater in the beautiful Berkshires makes this the perfect destination for a summer get-away.
Beautiful theater, friendly and helpful staff, excellent productions, easy parking and egress, and reasonable prices.
Boston Ballet Boston
I have sat in many areas of the theater and believe that the seats near the orchestra pit are wonderful as well as the first balcony.
This is our second year of subscribing, after seeing individual shows here and there for a few years.
Probably the best part of the visit was waiting in line outside and being thoroughly entertained by a "zombie" associated with the theater, we considered him the highlight of our trip to Salem!
It was easy to see that they love what they do, and take care in providing an awesome show each time (there were only 7 of us in the theatre).

It starts with the arrest of Bridget Bishop on the street outside the theater.

Wonderful Theater in the round
Having the opportunity to see a TV star live was a unique opportunity and a true hidden gem of the Boston theatre scene.
The smaller venue was much better than some other magic shows we have been to in the past.
