Washington Park Zoo

Michigan City
Grizzlies were very active, Lemurs made a great couple, the bird feeding was interactive and very special, the peacock roaming freely in open showed the true spirit of how a Zoo should be.
It’s a nice inexpensive zoo to see lions, deer, wolves, monkeys, lemurs, peacocks, eagles, sea otters and more.

Wolf Park

Battle Ground
Howl Night was super cool because we were able to see staff inside the enclosure with the wolves - giving them treats inside the enrichment boxes and interacting with each wolf.
Set back off the beaten path, the park greets you with a gravel parking lot and souvenir stand/ticket booth.
This is a great zoo... we were able to see most of it in about 4 hours but they do very well with what they have, as well as making you feel welcome every time you talk to someone.
Great winter activity, as the indoor exhibits were perfectly timed for warming up.
