- Althea LLansing, MI3 contributionsHumu Humu was amazing—saved us from a miscommunication mishap by calling us because we were a no-show. We didn’t get the schedule change— missed the text. But Humu made sure we got there.
My Ohana is from Makawao, we were there for my father’s funeral. My husband and I took the opportunity to visit Pearl Harbor where he was stationed 46 years ago, go down memory lane. So this was an emotional thing for me, my dad, fully Hawaiian, was born before WW II, in Maui when Hawaii was a territory. Felt full circle experience for me. It’s always a blessing to see the culture and progression of a people or nation throughout history. Not only is their culture pure and beautiful, their jewelry was well!Written January 13, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
