The itinerary is great –a visit to a wildlife sanctuary where we saw a variety of birds and some harbor seals, a visit to an oyster farm, a paddle across the bay and a hike across the sand dunes to the ocean.
... and the guides did a phenomenal job at accommodating to our varied interests and goals (including more skilled/adventurous cave exploration), and educating us about the Islands' history and flora and fauna.
We came prepared and had an amazing day in the most beautiful surroundings with guides who are knowledgeable about kayaking and the precious ecology of the islands, and also cared about making it fun for us.

As we ventured out into the bay, Gina shared her knowledge of marine wildlife showing us nudibranch, large starfish, otters, sea lions, seals, dolphins, pelicans and cormorants.
Up close sightings of playful sea otters and curmudgeonly sea lions, lots of pelicans, cormorants, etc., short snack/comfort break with a quick detour up to the old lighthouse with the rope swing over the bay.
He took us through the San Diego Bay, passing all the landmarks including the Midway, the maritime museum, Coronado bridge, and some of the navy’s ships that were in the harbor while listening to soft jazz.

Sunshine rafting was a great experience, as it has been in the past, from the convenient parking to the shuttle ride back to the parking lot to the friendly staff that just makes you feel wecome.
It was a long ride it did take us four hours with three people but we stopped and had lunch and stopped and took breaks there are plenty of places to stop along the way my husband loved it
La Vida Laguna Laguna Beach
We've been to Laguna Beach many times and love the place - but a few hours in a kayak floating out on the ocean was the best time ever!! Justin our guide was fantastic and knowledgeable and an all round great guy.
Everything was superb: our guide took charge and got us out in the ocean safely and quickly … his knowledge of both the local Laguna Beach area and of the local wildlife was impressive, and we had a GREAT time.

Equipment is in good conditions and the location is perfect since you can both access the beach part or you can go further out to the bay with sailboats, jet skis, kayaks, etc.

The weather was gorgeous and ocean was amazing we took our family kayaking n snorkeling and got to see small sharks, sea lions and other marine life up close thanks to Jacob which knew the best spots.
Our guides, Aden and Brandon, were exceptional: very friendly, funny, helpful, and knowledgeable about the animal live in the water, and about the history and geology/geography of the caves.
