What travelers are saying
- RandS_TXhouston271 contributionsThis was a remarkable museum filled with art, scuplture, and manuscripts. While the tickets are free, it costs $20 to park. That wouldn't be bad for a party of 4 but I was traveling solo. It was still worth the price. Each building has 2 floors and galleries are a little confusing. I would do each building, one at a time starting on the first floor and then going to the second. The galleries are numbered on the entry so just go in order. The grounds are beautiful, as well.Written May 19, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- TheTravellingGeekEngland, UK45 contributionsReally enjoyed our day at the island, very interesting to see the place I had only seen in the movies and really enjoyable trip out on the ferry to the island.
Unfortunately due to restrictions you couldn't get any food or drink other than water once there, so pack something if you can.Written May 17, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Kimberly ABaton Rouge, LA3 contributionsThe USS Midway Museum was an unexpected surprise. I went reluctantly, but really enjoyed every second of it.Written May 17, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Nicolás BBogota, Colombia19 contributionsGreat place to visit and many sites to go. Started from LA and went all the way up to SF. Yosemite, Lake Tahoe, San Francisco were definitely the best places to hang out. Don’t miss Santa Barbara either!Written May 2, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Ashley H5 contributionsI've been to Disneyland before, but this was my mom's first time visiting. It was a great time for both of us. We were nervous about the crowds being heavy around this time, but it was nowhere near what we expected.Written April 25, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Hari ADelta, Canada632 contributionsGoing up 8,000 ft the tram offers excellent mountain and city vies. The history is interesting so make sure you see the two short films. Except for the paid parking (almost all of Palm Springs has free parking) the tram is a must. The 360 degree revolving platform is unique and prevents people moving around for a better view. If you loose something, dont expect to hear back from them - I left phone and email messages.Written May 18, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Lynsey FStirling, UK26 contributionsA must if you are visiting Monterey. So much to see and do. You have to book prior to arrival. Don’t think you can just turn up.Written May 14, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- hankypanky505Albuquerque, NM413 contributionsUnfortunately the place is closed temporarily so we were unable to go inside. But even the outside is worth checking out and there's a really nice courtyard area to have a little lunch. Beautiful architecture and paintings, so bummed I didn't get to see the inside.Written April 24, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Lynsey FStirling, UK26 contributionsLoved this. I started this drive early (around 8:20) and entered through pacific grove. It was quiet and each stop I had to myself basically. If you arrive at the golf course visitor Center before 10 it is still closed so just bear that in mind if you want to visit there.Written May 14, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- endlesssummer53Albuquerque, NM7 contributionsLOVELY place to visit on ANY day, especially when the roses are in bloom.
This location was my FIRST city job as a Groundsworker in 1975. What memories I have and I learned so much about roses and how to care for them.
When you go, marvel at the roses but please DO NOT pick any!
One of San Jose's finest places to visit if you are a tourist or resident. GREAT place for a picnic or party.Written May 13, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - StowMomof2BoysStow, OH183 contributionsGreat break from the dining and shopping of Long Beach. Nice displays and many cool creatures to see, including many different types of jellyfish. Besides fish, also have a great seal, sea Lion and otter displays.Written April 23, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- JennD7Palm Beach, FL51 contributionsThis was one of our favorite winery visits while in Napa. We really enjoyed the tour, art and wine and cheese pairing. We ended up joining the wine club and we've been members for 1 year now and we always look forward to the shipments because the wines are wonderful. I can't wait to visit again next time we are in Napa!Written April 26, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- El viaje incansable6 contributionsSpectacular site for many travelers, especially at the end of Route 66. This popular city in Los Angeles County has an amusement park, a beautiful wooden pier, a promenade that draws the entire beach and another that is practically built with clothing stores. In addition, all this is always accompanied by a warm sun.Written February 6, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Cathy GRostraver, PA39 contributionsHaving lived in La Jolla for 6 months, I walked every morning to the cove to watch the seals play and frolic. Scenery is gorgeous, there's always lots going on and it's fun to people watch. The only negative is the smell of the seals but that's not really a negative as it is nature at its finest!Written May 15, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- DJT326Crested Butte, CO95 contributionsA bit of a line to get in which surprised us but was well worth the $12 admission. The museum has a ton of trains and the staff was excellent at providing history and information. Third floor is fun for kids and the gift shop is great.Written May 2, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
