This was a remarkable museum filled with art, scuplture, and manuscripts. While the tickets are free, it costs $20 to park. That wouldn't be bad for a party of 4 but I was traveling solo. It was still worth the price. Each building has 2 floors and galleries are a little confusing. I would do each building, one at a time starting on the first floor and then going to the second. The galleries are numbered on the entry so just go in order. The grounds are beautiful, as well.

The very beginning of this tour is wonderful. The view of the city from the ferry is great. After reaching the island, it's a self guided tour with a pair of earphones providing us with all the information. Lot's of people visit in the tour but crowd is organized and everyone can take the tour at their own pace. Other than that, we could wander around the small island and get amazing views of the ocean. Great little day tour into the history book pages of the prison island.

The USS Midway Museum was an unexpected surprise. I went reluctantly, but really enjoyed every second of it.

Great place to visit and many sites to go. Started from LA and went all the way up to SF. Yosemite, Lake Tahoe, San Francisco were definitely the best places to hang out. Don’t miss Santa Barbara either!

I've been to Disneyland before, but this was my mom's first time visiting. It was a great time for both of us. We were nervous about the crowds being heavy around this time, but it was nowhere near what we expected.

A very cool experience taking this aerial tram over 8,000 feet up while the floor of the tram rotates! The views while travelling both ways and while up at the top were magnificent. There are lots of opportunities to take photos of the Palm Springs area. Do one or two hikes while up there. Wear appropriate shoes and bring a sweater as the temperature is much cooler at the top.

A must if you are visiting Monterey. So much to see and do. You have to book prior to arrival. Don’t think you can just turn up.

Unfortunately the place is closed temporarily so we were unable to go inside. But even the outside is worth checking out and there's a really nice courtyard area to have a little lunch. Beautiful architecture and paintings, so bummed I didn't get to see the inside.

We started in afternoon and finished the drive in around 4 hours. The whole drive was full of great views of sea, rocks, sea birds, seals sea lions, trees under nature. Our whole family group enjoyed it. Sunset was beautiful in the evening from The Lone Cypress point.
