Any one of these is worth the trip .. the grounds are beautiful .. the art is awesome .. lunch was delicious as stated .. and to be able to view and tour an actual FLW 'Usonian' house is priceless.
The breathtaking beauty, the amazing LIVING cave (very few caves accessible to the public are truly "living"), and very knowledgable guides make this an EXCELLENT destination or trip stop.
Additionally, the park has some camping, a wonderful amphitheater and great picnic areas all set in the scenic Ozark mountains.

Anthony Chapel

Hot Springs
Anthony Chapel is nestled under a canopy of southern pines and oak trees, and it perfectly complements an idyllic setting within the Garvan Gardens.
... chapel is breathtakingly gorgeous and you truly need to just put your camera down and just take it all in...a picture may speak a thousand words but a picture and words cannot describe the beauty of this chapel

If you want an incredible experience in a smaller theatre with professional actors/actresses delivering the one of the best contemporary plays, this is your venue!
This play combines conflict, laughter, love, and emotion with phenomenal set design, special effects, and sound.
The cabins are pristine and have all the comforts of home: stove/oven/microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, and is equipped with all the dishes, pots/pans, and silverware you're likely to need.
The cabins are very clean and the screened in back porch is such a wonderful place to enjoy coffee, play games while looking at the river, squirrels and many birds.

The interns taking care of the animals are carefully chosen in a very competitive process and are among the most selfless people, very well-trained and working tirelessly to give care and good lives to these animals.
A quaint, but beautiful lodge, great restaurant, cabins with terrific views, great trails with awesome overlooks, a lake, tennis courts and more!
We really enjoyed discovering various, natural and fascinating places such as the turtle rocks, the Rock House Cave, the Natural Bridge, and Cedar Falls waterfall.
I was blown away by his book "Short Nights of the Shadow Catcher" (they have for sale in the gift shop), and this museum, especially with his photographs, is a wonderful tribute to Native Americans.
The artifacts are well displayed and spaciously exhibited, allowing us to soak them in at our own pace.
Some of my favorite sights in this area were Triple Falls, The Glory Hole Falls, Indian Creek, Big Bluff along the Goat Trail, Hawksbill Crag, Lost Valley Falls, Lost Valley Cave, and Cobb Cave.

Nice walking trail around the grounds with rock outcroppings and a hard surface for ease of navigation.
The Cedar falls trail was great but don’t miss the bridge and waterfall behind the welcome center area.
It is a strenuous hike back up to the top but worth it.

Lake Ouachita

Hot Springs
Fishing is excellent and there is Lake Ouachita State Park on the eastern shore with full hook up, boat and kayak rental, with wildlife tours.
This is absolutely the best lake on the planet!!! Beautiful clear water and great fishing.
The hike is a nice hike with many overlooks before getting to the Crag overlook itself. The tail can be wet and slippery with many tree roots making walking difficult.
My sister and I, both in our 60s, hiked this easily, but were glad we had hiking sticks for balance since after or during a rain, it can be a little slick on the fallen leaves.
Also, a wonderful National Park book shop, etc. one or two doors down with great reads and great books for local hiking, birds, trees, butterflies, wildflowers, etc.
He was very friendly, humorous, informative and knowledgeable !! It is a BEAUTIFUL building and every floor should be visited including the entertaining gymnasium on the top floor.

Baum Stadium

Fayetteville
This stadium favorably compares with the finest minor and even major league ball parks in the U.S. For more than a decade, Baum Stadium has been acclaimed one of the most beautiful venues in college sports.
Had great seats along the left field line, enjoyed the cheerleaders on top of the dugouts cheering between innings (first time seeing cheerleaders at a baseball game)!
Surrounded by Lake Hamilton, its features include Japanese Garden, Children's Garden, Nature Preserve, bridges, and world-renowned Anthony Chapel with 55-ft-tall glass windows and skylights, chimes, and amazing ar...
Leisurely day spent enjoying the Japanese garden, many bridges, many waterfalls, so many blooms (we were vacationing from a state with a brutal winter), children's garden, fairy garden, train garden and more!

Beautifully maintained with creative, fun and challenging holes with a few surprises along the way.
It is well worth the trip to visit this place and experience all it has to offer - awesome hiking trails, outdoor activities, numerous breathtaking views at Arkansas's highest point.
Perched on a bluff overlooking a river with a private hot tub, fireplace and loads of character we thoroughly enjoyed it.
Easy hike to see beautiful waterfall, play in the stream, see Arkansas Geology and lots of plants.
We parked by the lake and it was only about 10 minutes of a fairly easy hike to get to the waterfall.
As others have already written, this hike provides a lot to see and offers a variety of natural elements--cave, natural bridge, creek, various wildlife, etc. Lost Valley is very reminiscent of Ha Ha Tonka State Pa...
Easy hike with beautiful views of the stream, waterfalls, natural bridge and cave at the top.
A wide sidewalk with benches, plantings of azaleas in raised beds with capstones wide enough to sit on accommodates the thriving Farmers Market on Tuesdays, Thursdays and especially Saturdays from April to November.
The Fayetteville city square is delightful--shady benches, lush plantings (complete, I must report, with a hungry rabbit)--and three times a week it hosts a market with vendors selling homegrown produce, crafts, f...

Intrigue Theater

Eureka Springs
I know that the Intrigue Theater is a smaller venue than what your show deserves but the chance to see a magician perform his slight of hand skills in an intimate setting is very rare and enjoyable.
Housed in an old church, the theater only had about twenty seats, providing an intimate setting with plenty of opportunity for audience participation.
Ladies, if you want to have a lot of laughs & a ladies day out, this is the place to go! Thank you to Ms. Laura, you made it all "come to life", you are a real treasure!
We were a little concerned about taking our 8 year old grand daughter on a tour of a brothel, but our tour guide was discreet and thoughtful, and she was an excellent tour guide.
Outstanding military historical cemetery for 150 years with great history of Fort Smith as a strategic military post during the Civil War.
It really gives you some history and reminds you the sacrifice our soldiers made to keep our country great.

Christ of the Ozarks
