The canyon was amazing and far easier to access than I thought it would be! I didn't know what to expect coming in, we used Ken's Tours to visit the lower canyon (they were great) and to my suprise a lot of couples had toddlers and whatnot with them. Everyone was able to enter, get through and exit the canyon with ease. Even with how busy it is the guide did a fantastic job of making sure everyone had good photo ops. Would absolutely come back!

This attraction offers an incredible array of desert plant life. There are docents interspersed throughout the park to offer helpful information about the different types of trees and plants featured in the gardens. I enjoyed learning about not just the plants but also how the plants have impacted the people who have lived in the Phoenix region over time. The paths throughout the gardens are very well-maintained and walkable.

Amazing views and only about a 10 minute hike/walk to get to the views. Went just after sunrise and it was BEAUTIFUL. It was shocking how easy it was to access.

Absolute must do in Sedona. It was a great hike and the views are spectacular. Not extremely difficult. A healthy individual would have no problem.

What a great day. We parked at Dry Creek Road (I was tempted to try driving our rental 4x4 in, but the rocks at the front convinced me otherwise). We hiked from Dry Creek via the Chuckwagon Trail. It was spectacular but made for a very long and somewhat challenging hike. Good think I brought some M&M’s, apples, granola bars, and even a bag of Lucky Charms. Even though my family thought I was nuts for putting this stuff in my backpack, the snacks were very much appreciated on the way. My kids even said I was right about something! If that wasn’t enough to make a great day, the views along the trail were just icing on the cake. As you approach the Devil’s Bridge, the elevation really starts. There were a couple of moments I questioned my decisions, but then a family with 3-4 year old kids, or couples with babies strapped to their backs would pass by and I figured, if they could do it….

On the way back we walked along the 4x4 road. It was MUCH quicker than the way in, and although we were happy to be back at the car quicker, we all agreed that we were glad we hiked through the Chuckwagon Trail on the way in.

    Great visit.
Beautiful views. Good hiking in the area. Need to wrap up warm in the winter months and wear comfortable shoes.
    Nice little gift shop.

Our guide Tracy made our trip unforgettable. The unbelievable natural beauty was accompanied with wonderful storytelling. Tracy was also a patient phone-phot expert helping us adjust the settings to capture the beauty of light bouncing off the walls. And she was our photographer :) we loved her playing flute in the waved canyon. It was a natural amphitheater. Thank you Tracy for the memories.

We spent two hours at this museum. For those with extensive musical backgrounds, it would be easy to spend an entire day here. For the price of admission, you receive a receiver with headphones that allow you to listen to musical demonstrations of various instruments as well as excerpts of performances by famous musicians. It is difficult to imagine a place with more different examples of instruments from around the world than this museum. It was almost overwhelming for a non-musician. The quality and uniqueness of this place are difficult to overstate.

This is a great desert museum and zoo just outside of the western part of Saguaro National Park. You need 2-3 hours to see it all so plan accordingly. Plenty of wildlife abound although you may have to look closely when it’s hot out to catch some of the animals. Great desert landscapes with all kinds of cactus to enjoy.

While Phoenix downtown is a bit uninspiring to say the least, the downtown centre of Scottsdale is a lovely little town with nice shops and eateries in scenic streets. Not some highrise concrete blocks.
Along the river some more restaurants and shops.

This area is so beautiful, but beloved by everyone. Lots of people at the trailhead taking insta pics. Definitely go an hour or two before sunset (or around dawn) to see the colors shine. I went down to other parking spots down the road and it was less crowded and just as beautiful.
