- JbachfroCopenhagen, Denmark171 contributionsGorgeous views!! Lovely hike in the beautiful mountains. Went with two families. Not at all crowded in July. Paths are marked. Lots of cyclist opportunitiesWritten July 18, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Anna GLodz, Poland680 contributionsIt is rather lesuiry walk in the nature, along the stream.
It is worthy to go up to Wysoka afterwards.Written July 14, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. As we visited on a wet, rainy day we had the viewpoint almost to ourselves ( the ticket office was still manned though). I've been on a sunny day and the views were great but they were maybe even better with the low clouds partially covering the hills.Written August 20, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - endrju_74Ipswich, UK4,837 contributionsChairlift Palenica - one of seven such attractions managed by PKL (Polskie Koleje Linowe, Polish cable cars) in southern Małopolska region. This one starts on western side of Szczawnica, and takes its visitors to the highs of Palenica peak, which culminates at 719 m. Frome there - season dependant - visitors can start their chosen outdoor activities. One of them is hiking adventure in pretty much any direction they want - yellow trail passes by the top station of the cable car, but few hundred meters further (in both lengt and altitude) there's another peak called Szafranówka with small trails junction, and with Poland/Slovakia border, and that opens new possibilities of hiking on both Polish and Slovak parts of Pieniny. Also bikers got a lot to do on Palenica, but that's mainly one direction - downhill back to Szczawnica. In winter top of Palenica turns itself into ski paradise, with extra two small ski lifts between Palenica and Szafranówka, and quite a few ski slopes around. Cable car open whole year round, openning hours clearly shown on their web side. Great views from top of the ride.Written February 24, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- BurtdolApex, NC498 contributionsCan't pin down where you start the raft trip which is a couple hours long down the Dunajec River. It was very enjoyable and something to really enjoy relative to flowers and fauna. The river divides Poland and Slovenia so this alone is interesting. Would recommend as a relaxing day along the river and suggest you contact the Pieniny National Park for information on tickets and starting location.Written September 7, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Monika TWarsaw, Poland544 contributionsYou can reach the top by chairlift or on your feet along the trail. We chose the second option - the trail is forested and crosses the chairlift route several times. On the top there is a beautiful view. It can be a starting point for the further hike - we went to Leśnica on the Slovak side and back to Szczawnica by the road towards Dunajec.Written October 4, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - EmiSzczawnica, Poland1 contributionOne of the most beautiful churches I have seen in my whole life. Now it is a catholic church, not orthodox. It looks so pretty, I recommend that place.Written October 25, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Anna GLodz, Poland680 contributionsEasy trail for a walk in nature. One can meet sheep and cows and also get some fresh cheese straight from mountaineers.Written July 14, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
