    This tour is very nice.
The guide was very professional and gave us good and very interesting explanations about Lithuanian History, customs and ways of life.
I really recommend this tour if you want to be out of Vilnius for a while

This was a fabulous historical tour where we saw so much in one day and learned all about what we saw! Our guide Andrej was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about giving us everything he could!

Fantastic experience of the full-day tour to The Hill of Crosses from Vilnius! It was a small group of only three people and our guide Jurate was so lovely, she was passionate about sharing Lithuanian history and was also flexible with adapting the tour to us. I would highly recommend if you have the time to spare- the entire tour took 9 hours and around 5-6 hours of that was spent driving. For me it was absolutely worth it because the experience was so unique and Jurate was such a fantastic guide.

Our guide Vad was so knowledgable. He picked us up on time and had water in the car for us. We had great conversation on the history of Lithuania and any questions we had were answered. We arrived at The IX Fort in a very ominous fog. It was an experience I will hold with me for a lifetime. Vad told us all about the monument and its meaning. The museum is an absolute must. Our hearts were heavy as we made our way through the museum. It was overwhelming and so informative. We then headed to the Hill of Crosses. The story of how The Hill of Crosses came to be was interesting. There are more than 100,000 crosses on and around the hill. This was apparent as we walked along the path. This is an awesome display and a must see if you are in the area. There are several paths leading around and up the hill so you can explore the crosses.
This tour was excellent and our guide, Vad, made it a top 10 day!!! Theresa and Maryellen USA

We were very pleased with our day trip to Siluva and the Hill of crosses. Our driver/guide Inge provided us with history lessons and very patiently waited for us when we attended mass at the Shrine of Our Lady of Siluva which we did not expect. She also recommended we visit the KGB museum which we also did. Thanks Inge.

I had booked my tour for Trakai. It was a Monday and when i reached the bus they told me with a surprising face that the tour is not likely to happen as on Mondays Trakai's Castle is closed. They did a couple of calls and came back to me saying that either I get my money back (at least) or I pay double and they take me there as a private tour.
Sincerely, they resolved the issue in a good manner but if the tour is never done on Monday i wouldn't let people to book on Mondays, it just makes no sense.

With less than a week in the country and unable to travel to the areas where my ancestors lived, this was a great alternative. My guide spoke excellent English, he made sure I got to see the parts of the Rumsiskes open air museum that were pertinent to my family, even inquiring at the office if there were any publications about these regions. He picked me up at the back entrance so I wouldn't have to retrace my steps. We then headed to Kaunas where I saw the castle ruins, town hall plaza, a burgher's house, and several churches. We had lunch at an outdoor cafe-very reasonable. As it was a Monday and the monastery wasn't open and really wasn't on my must see list, we skipped it, instead stopping at Akopolis Mall at a basketball store where I made a purchase.

Our tour guide was Agnes and she was absolutely fabulous! We learned an incredible amount regarding the complicated history of the Jews in the Vilna District, including through WW2. My sister and I had an interest in Vilna in the 19th century, because our great grandparents left in the 1880s, and Agnes was able to provide much perspective on what had happened before and after our ancestors lived there. She was able to answer our questions and we learned a lot. Agnes covered the period basically from the 1400s to today!

I took this tour from Vilnius to Trakai in April 2018. We chose to take a tour with a live guide in English. Our guide, Tomas, was not very friendly. He did not talk or interact with the members of the group, and everything he said seemed to be reading from a history book. Some people asked questions, but he did not give convincing answers. In addition, he spent almost half the time of the tour texting on his cell phone.
The tour itself is worth it, as the bus drops you off at the castle and the village. But I would choose the audio guide, which costs half the price. It is very easy to walk through the castle and town alone, and the quality of our guide did not make up to the price.
