Our son, his wife, our grandkids, my husband, and I saw THE NUTCRACKER on
December 15, 2019. It was fantastic! The ballet dancing was excellent and the
costumes and scenery were magical. This was my grandkids first experience seeing
a major performance in a concert hall. I would recommend going to see a performance
at this venue when you are in Vilnius. The concert was beautiful all decorated for
    the holiday season. A Grandma

I visit Russian theatre on a regular basis during the season. The last but not least play i saw was a lyric comedy "Thank you, Margo!". All plays i have seen were just great, the atmosphere artists create is so real, you feel yourself involved in the action. However, i really fill a pitty that the theatre building is in such an awful condition, I really hope it could attract some funding for building renovation which is included in UNESCO. The theatre is small, the best rows are in front probably 3rd or 4th row in Stalls, the balcony has quite a restricted view of the stage. In winter times i would advise to stay in a jacket, or put something warm on the dress, as it is quite chilly inside. You can have a drink and try out various deserts during the break in the theatre cafe.
Even taking into account the condition of the building, i still would advise to visit the theatre, they have truly great actors there.
If you are a student, retired, or disabled you can always ask for a discount at the cashier. A discount is also given is you use a Daily card, OMNI ID or Laisvalaikis discount cards. The tickets can also be bought on Tiketa internet site. I hope you will enjoy.

The only one jazz bar in whole Vilnius with best jazz musicians. Recently we were enjoying our time at the concert of Saules kliosas, who were fantastic! Surely will come back, cause they have the best musicians in that cosy and acoustic place.

A group of friends and I went to a special performance on New Year’s Eve and it was just perfect. The setting of the new venue at Gediminas avenue is tastly equipped with lights and decorations. I could’t say that my knowledge of tango is deep, but everyone of my group including myself got impressed by acrobatic and emotional dancing, atmosphere in general was very positive and welcoming. We also received a bottle of sparkling wine and a desert which was a nice supplement to the festive evening.

They have great DJs, great beers, and a great "vibe". In addition, the walk into the complex that contains this venue is lined with street art. Loftas also hosts indoor concerts and markets. Highly recommended!

Wow! Such a beautiful and spacious casino, I felt like in Las Vegas. Very friendly staff, good service for beginer players and professionals. It was really interesting to try some games for the first time and enjoy the rest of the evening near the bar. Delicious cocktails!

The hall is smaller inside than one would imagine from viewing the entrance facade, but the cozy dimensions provide an intimate musical experience. Tickets are not expensive for the caliber of musicianship presented, and our visit coincided with the opening night of the 2016-2017 season, complete with special presentations marking the 80th birthday of Maestro Juozas Domarkas. The sightline from our first row balcony seats was fine for appreciating the virtuosity of the Norwegian Samuelsen siblings performing the Brahms concerto for violin and cello. It was even better for enjoyment of the Saint-Saens Organ Symphony, since the Filharmonija concert hall is equipped with a magnificent pipe organ. Still, the hall is showing its age, and the seats are thinly padded. It is also a little concerning that everyone on the balcony level got there via a single stairway and doorway, and the uppermost seats in the balcony almost reach the decorated ceiling. The performance was being recorded, and there was a camera obstructing the aisleway at the front of the balcony, which meant half the people seated in the balcony had to work their way around the camera and cables at the performance beginning, ending, and intermission. There were also a significant number of standing-room-only attendees lining the sides of the balcony, which has single lines of seats along each side. Sitting or standing at the sides of the balcony does not afford a good view of the stage, although the sound seems to be good wherever one chooses to sit. Taking all into account, the Filharmonija provides a very satisfying way to spend an evening.
