- Iain H20 contributionsWhat a wonderful experience. We got picked up at our hotel and driven to the take off location which was rural and outside Trakai. We then flew over the area and our pilot pointed out things of interest and explained about ballooning. 1日に4箇所も行けて、日本語であまり紹介されていない箇所(ポナリの森等)が旅程に入っているのがとても魅力的でした。また、日本人だからということで杉原千畝記念館にも寄ってくださいました。(その分他の場所が少し短めになります)

- Sam ReederArlington, VA28 contributionsMy mom and I did this cooking class and were highly impressed with the experience and very much enjoyed not just the cooking but the conversation and learning as well! The host Ruta is very nice and welcoming and made us feel right at home in her beautiful house. The kitchen is amazing with all the tools you need to do the cooking setup already with the ingredients. She is very knowledgeable in cooking as well and setup the class in a way that used our time efficiently while also making sure our questions were answered. She also was willing to show how to do things better like slicing vegetables, how to cook things well, and little tips and tricks on what to look for to know when things are done. After the cooking, we got to enjoy the dinner which was absolutely delicious! Further, we got to have conversation with our fellow tourist couple and with Ruta and her husband. The conversation was great giving everyone a look into the life of living in Lithuania giving us knowledge on the culture, norms, daily life, and of course, Lithuanian cuisine. If anyone is looking for something that is super fun and educational while also being hosted by an amazing person, I HIGHLY recommend this cooking class and if I am ever back in Lithuania with friends or family again, I will definitely be taking them to this cooking class. The whole transport service from and back to the hotel worked perfectly despite the rush hour, the balloon and all the equipment presented itself in full safety & inspection, the experienced captain, crew and all the associated staff acted with full knowledge and professionalism, giving all passengers a high level of comfort and safety. And the journey itself and the scenery exceeded expectations! Many suites impressed me but here I was moved most, when I saw this hill full of many thousand of crosses . I had tears in my eyes and thought when I die; I would also like some one to put a cross here in my memory. - JG C68 contributionsWe had a lovely visit with Marija. She is a very knowledgable guide and knows a lot about the history of the rules of the country. It's a very charming town and the castle offers a nice view. Having a complete explanation about all the displays inside the castle becomes a little boring at the end and we would've loved to have more time in Trakai. We learned a lot about the main sites in Vilnius and Uzupis, as well as the history of Lithuania in general. What a wonderful way to get to know a bit more about the city and country.
