Enjoyed the walk. We learned a lot about the city. We were on tour when the PM was shot, so that was interesting, to say the least.

My wife and I hired a car with an English speaking driver from Vienna to Budapest, Hungary with stop-over in Bratislava. We were charged Euro 200/- one way trip. We found it was cheap because the driver picked us from Vienna hotel and dropped us at Budapest hotel. On top of that, he took us for a walking tour to see the old palace, government buildings and the narrow streets of downtown Bratislava and fantastic Blue Church.

Bratislava is a small city and the whole tour took us only one hour. But it is a nice city with nice friendly people.

My husband and I really enjoyed this tour. Our guide, Terezia, was excellent and we loved hearing about Slovak customs and current every day life. The food was wonderful and we appreciated having the option to choose which dish we wanted.

We also appreciated that, after the tour, Terezia sent us an overview of the places we went to, and the dishes we had. She also gave us a list that contained recommendations on where to have coffee, breakfast, drinks, etc.

I will start off by saying that the bus ride was simple to find, comfortable and quick.
Our walking tour guide was fantastic. I'm so sorry I forget his name (perhaps Dima?) He was engaging and gave some amazing information as well as answered everyone's questions.
I will agree with everyone else that the remaining allotted time was too much. We were done everything we wanted to see by about 4pm.
Unfortunately, due to flooding and the Danube water level being so dangerous we had to return to Vienna by boat. Nothing the tour could have done about this.

Our day tour was an absolutely fantastic experience, thanks to our incredible guide, Brano. From the very start, his deep knowledge and passion for history were evident, making each site we visited come alive with stories and insights that were both captivating and informative. Our journey began in Bratislava, where we explored significant 20th-century landmarks such as the Soviet memorial Slavín, the Iron Curtain zone, and an authentic WWII bunker. Brano's ability to contextualize these sites within the broader sweep of history made this part of the tour particularly poignant and memorable.

The drive to Hronsek was scenic and comfortable, providing a perfect opportunity to relax and take in the beautiful Slovak countryside. Upon arrival in Hronsek, we were greeted by the stunning sight of the UNESCO-listed wooden church, a true masterpiece of historical craftsmanship. Brano's detailed explanations about the church's construction and its historical significance added a profound layer to our appreciation of this unique site. Following the church visit, we enjoyed a delightful lunch in the area, where the local cuisine was both delicious and a wonderful introduction to the region's culinary traditions.

Our next stop was the retro and semi-abandoned spa town of Sliač. This visit was a fascinating step back in time, offering a glimpse into a bygone era with its nostalgic charm and slightly eerie atmosphere. Brano's knowledge of the town's history and his engaging stories made this stop unexpectedly intriguing and enjoyable.

The highlight of the tour was undoubtedly our visit to Banska Stiavnica, a UNESCO World Heritage mining town. The town's rich history and picturesque scenery were breathtaking, and Brano's vivid narratives about its mining heritage and historical importance brought the entire experience to life. His enthusiasm and expertise were infectious, making our exploration of this charming town both educational and deeply engaging.

The drive back to Bratislava provided a peaceful conclusion to our day, allowing us to reflect on the myriad experiences and insights we had gained. Brano's exceptional guidance throughout the tour was the cornerstone of this unforgettable journey. His passion, knowledge, and storytelling ability made this a five-star experience from start to finish. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to explore Slovakia's rich history and beautiful landscapes, especially with Brano as their guide.

Not quite a pub crawl, but you hit up three different bars. Guga, our guide for the night, was a blast. The tour covered local beers, wines, and liquors and gets you out of the more touristy parts of the city. Just make sure you eat first!

Spectacular way to connect two amazing cities. Nothing beats the comfort and convenience of having your own tour-ride from beautiful Budapest to classic Vienna. Driver was very friendly, we had a long lunch and tour stop in Bratislava during the early winter season, streets and city center in Bratislava was filled with lights, and Christmas decor making this transfer very pleasent

My husband and I did the Food and Beer tour at the end of March. Tereza was our guide during our tour and was absolutely wonderful; she made us feel very comfortable and welcome to the city of Bratislava. She was very knowledgeable and provided great recommendations for cuisine and beer. We truly had a fabulous time and would recommend a tour with Tereza; her warm hospitality made us feel like we were restaurant and bar hopping with a friend! Book your tour with Tereza now; you won't regret it!
