Impressive view even on a cloudy morning. We went around it and found nice places you can drink some coffee or just eat a cake.

Very peaceful and beautiful synagogue. It is opened until 15:00 and not 13:00, so take your time. The temple is wonderful.

Beautiful Church undergoing construction to clean the front statues and building. It should be amazing when we return. Inside great statue of Veronica and some amazing paintings. 12 Apostles line the alter. A small chapel has a beautiful painting of the crucifixion with a nice portray of Mary Magdalene.

Very very clean! I like that street is wide, so it's not crowdy, but pretty much spacious. A few interesting restaurants and bars, but for me, main impression was definitly how everything is clean and tip top :) Probably heart of Szeged, and don't miss it, if that's even possible :)

The water Tower is situated in Szent Istvan Square not far from the city center. A day per month you can visited. There are o lot of statues around the tower.

We took the-little-train-city ride. But I had noticed it when we took a trolley to go from our lodging to downtown so I made a mental note to come to see it.
It is a very impressive arch with 2 huge soldiers statutes outside and inside the arch there is a large mural all around. It is a homage to those who died in WWI.
I must mention that the street where it is located, called Boldogasszony sugarut, as you get closet to the train station which is south of this arch, many buildings are terribly vandalized by graffiti on both sides of the street. I was very sorry to see that.

Klauzal Square is a crossroads of sorts for some of Szeged’s main pedestrian streets. All the buildings that border this square are renovated and well preserved and represent the rebirth of the city after the Great flood. The central pieces of the Klauzal Market are, without a doubt, the Millenium Fountain and the statue of Kossuth - the leader of the revolution of 1848. A must-see visit!

A great selection of figures of Hungary, e.g. heroes, kings, scientists and artists. I felt a loss of comprehension because you don't get to read about them, e.g. a short one-liner of why each figure was famous. For that, you need to search the internet. All said and done, this is still not to be missed. Combine the visit with Heroes Gate and the square and many more sights in the surrounding area.

Of course, if you visit in the same tourist circuit Subotica and Szeged, the city hall of Szeged seems not to be as spectacular as the one in Subotica. And yet, Szeged City Hall has its charm. The Neo-Baroque town hall is located among the eclectic palaces that embrace Széchenyi ter and is connected with the "Bridge of Sighs", to the neighboring council house, which was built for the king's days in 1883. The central clock tower, the beautifull colored roof and the courtyard - all are worth photographing.

The serbian orthodox church is situated near the Dom Square, but it is hidden between buildings. It is an old church, but well preserved.

The small bridge at the City hall reminds everybody to the similar bridge in Venice. This one is a little bit smaller and the history behind it not the tragic as in Venice.

Millenium fountain is dedicated to the head of tibe - Arpad -who settled in the area of present-day Hungary in the 9th century. The four winged lions support a golden ceremonial globe and a double cross, specific to Hungarian Christians. The fountain, but also the entire square are great places to take beautiful pictures.
