- Psihosfera P10 contributionsNice lake, warm water. Mostly elderly people. It's good to use swimming worms as the depth of the lake is 2-38 metres. People mostly float in the lake on those worms😃 you can borrow the equipment thereWritten November 1, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - KlaraRiga, Latvia159 contributionsWe lived nearby during our stay here at Heviz. The benefits of church:
-as you are walking uphill in the heat after a tiring bathing at Heviz lake and even more exhausting huge lunch, the sight of blue towers gives you some hope
- the bells are ringing every 15 minutes, so you know exactly what time it is
- sometimes passing by you see wedding ceremonies that make you either regret your life choices or thanking God for them (depends)

Outside you have to find off road parking especially as there is a narrow road. The view is amazing. Just visit it. There are excellent places to eat nearby especially on the lower road.Written June 9, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Apple C254 contributionsIt 's nice to take a walk on the Wine Hill . We went there on foot , looking at the beautiful houses along the way . Although the road leads to a hill , this walk is worth it. It was possible to get here by the Dotto mini-train . Vineyards are spread out on the slopes of the hill . There are also restaurants where you can have a delicious and inexpensive lunch with local wine . They are not always immediately noticeable . Only the roofs of the cellars rise above the road . But what amazing views open from their summer terraces .Written July 7, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - KlaraRiga, Latvia159 contributionsThis park was near the place we stayed in and we liked it a lot! The fawn statue was very cute! And the dog statue was nice as well. Also there's a special track for walking barefoot, playground, botanical garden and even a bridge to hang ribbons with written wishes. Very beautiful.Written August 16, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- morciandszamiDunakeszi, Hungary221 contributionsIn the middle of the pedestrian zone, You can visit this interesting small museum. You can learn a lot about the bath historie of the city. The exhibition is small, but on the other hand it is free of charge.Written February 10, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - stinkwinkSydney, Australia7,254 contributionsIn 1925 when a local vineyard owner was plowing its field found a brick grave and in it an intact skeleton. The grave is in Hévíz Egregy district, close to the beginning of Dombföldi Street, leading up to Egregy vineyards. In the grave at the right shoulder of the skeleton was a bronze fibula, also a belt buckle, an iron knife, and other small items. The rumor started to talk about gold coins and military honors as well. Now only the soldier would be able to tell what else did he has.
The grave is cut in a steep wall and the front of it open, covered by glass. Seen this unfortunate fellow who probably had scoliosis, I feel uncomfortable. To put someone on display, who was already resting, is indecent. Or at least these are my feelings. Before I left, I wished him “requiescat in pace.”Written February 19, 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The staff at the spa was extra helpful in email and when we arrived they spoke English and tried their best to help us. When we arrived, we didn’t know which was which so we were first in St Andrew but the staff there was totally unhelpful (i.e., turn away their faces when we approach them) – we found this later not atypical Hungarian service but as a famous spa town we thought they could be a bit more welcoming. Anyway, we tried mud treatment (wrap 2 parts of your body with mud extracted from the lake) and several types of massages with professional and friendly masseurs. Worth a try.Written April 17, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
