We have been there already two times. Enough space and time for a fun 1-2 hours, central location, great value for the price.

    An hour that flies by!

I have visited this museum twice now. I love that it brings the scenes to life with the waxworks. It's good to appreciate the importance of this place as a hospital in multiple wars.

Tour is guided, enter with a tour once an hour and takes an hour. Can be a little cold but we were fine in our summer outfits.

We enjoyed it very much! Nice, long and slow ride for 1400ft (both ways price). Birds singing, trees around and the best view you can get after climbing 100 steps.

I’m not sure I can say enough good things about what an awesome experience this was. We did this tour on a Tuesday the day after we toured the nearby cave (for which you can also purchase a joint ticket). There are audio tours available so make sure you request one when you arrive. I am the only English speaker in a Hungarian speaking family and although we forgot to get the audio tour the guide (learn from me!) maybe you’ll be lucky enough to get our guide who conducted the tour in both Hungarian and English seamlessly crowd sourcing one or two words and always called the children of the group to the front to be able to see the formation he was discussing. The tour was a good 90 minutes but it was a very large group. There is a bit of a climb on damp metal stairs (7 stories tall) and definitely not for the claustrophobic. The cave formations were impressive and lovely and it’s mind blowing to think this is all steps from a busy city. Pack a sweatshirt and wear good walking shoes and take lots of pictures. Also be ready with your dinner requests for the legend of the witches kitchen ;)

It’s almost 1,5km tunnel with nothing to see. The statues are not good at all. There is a whole part of the labyrinth that’s in complete darkness. Not for claustrophobics AND not for people with any kind of respiratory problems. I have a mild form I asthma and I couldn’t breath in there! It’s full of humidity and mold! This place is not being well taken care of. I was running trying to get out and get some fresh air.

As the other reviews say... 'only cash!' save yourself two steep flights of steps down and back up to a cashpoint by being prepared.
We had fun walking around. The signage telling you which way to walk was terrible so we aren't 100% sure we walked the whole way round. We were OK but imagine if you are scared of the dark or claustrophobic being unable to find a way out would be less than ideal...
The pitch black part (optional) was a very unusual experience, absolute darkness was an experience I'd not had before. I thought my wife may have taken the opportunity to give me a cheeky kiss.. alas not. There is a rope to guide you through on the left just after the gate - it's a bit ropey (pardon the pun) so take some hand gel.
The bits about the Hungarian kings were interesting. I'm not sure what the opera "waxworks" added to the experience, certainly not a hyper realistic human resemblance like Madam Tussaud's.
It was lovely and cool down there on a hot day.

English tourists in Budapest. We did the Motel escape room and had a fantastic time. Great activity to do with friends and would definitely give one of the other rooms a go if we come back to Budapest. Lea our guide was fantastic and made it a great experience. Highly recommend for tourists looking for a fun activity to do.

The Secret Subway is probably the best room I've ever been in. All the puzzles make sense in that setting, the effects are amazing. I don't want to spoil anything, but the spoiler is the best part. Amazing room, 10/10. It was so good, in fact, that right after finishing it, we went to another room, 1984, which was unplanned. Admittedly, it's not as good, I definitely recommend the Metro one over 1984, but overall, I really loved coming there. Our game master Eszter was so lovely as well!

We visited the escape room on thursday and we enjoyed it a lot. Anna was our gamemaster and she helped a lot. The real saw themed one was great, we would recommend it to anyone.

As an ex tour guide myself, I was really picky when choosing a Segway company and it turned out to be an amazing experience. I took a Segway tour on Saturday 14th May 2022 and though I came last minute, the company was able to accommodate and provide the same day a private tour. Arash was incredible, he took me to the best gems of Budapest and we had great fun along the way :) Highly recommend the Segway tours on the first day of visiting, as you can see a lot and choose where to come back by foot.

If you’re looking for a place to shoot some of the world’s rarest and most sought after guns, then this is the place for you.

Not only did we get to do some serious damage on the shooting range, but by the end of the day, both hosts had practically become good mates with all (17) of us.

We got to learn a lot about their histories and the history of some of the guns

Most heartfelt and conversational tour I've been on. Orsi paid attention to everyone, answering questions fully and embellishing answers and guide information with local lore and personal experience without apparent bias. I hope she send the recipe she promised. That'd make her a 6 star in my opinion.
