This was a really cheap bath to go to in Budapest. The 2 hour option is nice, you get money back if you leave within 2 hours. It's not especially pretty architecturally, but I loved going in a circuit of the indoor ice pool/hot pool/steam room. The outdoor pools and slides were already mostly closed in early September. Only 1 of the outdoor pools was heated enough to stay in it for any length of time on the day we were there, quite chilly.

Was a funky museum! A nice place to see some different art. Some of the pieces are like optical illusions. We spend 40-60 minutes there and had a nice time!

Well this was one of the best experiences of my life with amazing people in a beautiful city.. Super Earlybird tickets being purchased for next year. Can't wait to go back for soooo many reasons. Fantastic crowd and atmosphere, amazing AMAZING diverse acts ,21 hours of music a day if you include the sound checks at 8am 🤣, everything on your doorstep, unbelievable cleanliness and facilities, beautiful island, fantastic friendly staff and all this for SIX WHOLE DAYS!!.
We had a pre pitched tent in one of the private campsites AND a cheap hotel in the city which was a bargain.. WELL WORTH having both and wouldn't change any of it. Campsite was awesome .. especially the staff at the bar there that was open ALL the time. I think you really need to camp there to get the full experience. Popped back to the hotel for various reasons but only stayed there the night before the festival and the last night of the festival .
It's an amazing city and well worth making time to experience it
If you're thinking about it.. just do it!

Very nice museum and ancient ruins. A nice and unexpected surprise while in Budapest. Very easy to get to thanks to the purple line.

Close to tram stop, no queues but we were pretty early. Some fun exhibits, space section not as good as hoped. Overall a fun morning - staff not partially helpful but pretty self explanatory so not too problematic.

Fantastic little museum, not known to the masses.
I had seen some of Imre Varga's work before and loved it eg. The Tree of life at the Synagoge.

I arrived 1½ hour before closing time, and there where no other guest than me.
One of the custodians guided me around for all of the 1½ hour, with explainations of each sculpture with no extra cost. He was really dedicated to his work!

Take the time to visit this little museum with some interesting works of Imre Varga.

If you ever come to Bp you must take a visit to “Római Part”. It is a little bit far away from the center but if the weather is good and you want to have a little rest from the busy city visit this place. There are a lot of small restaurat where you can eat fish, chicken and some other tipical hungarian food. There are a lot of place where you can drink or eat an icecream. The place is just next to the Danube and you can go down to the coast. It is wort to come to this place.

Visited on Sunday 8th October. We were on a guided tour and our tour guide took us for a walk around this very historic area of the city. Not to be missed, just make sure you allow yourself enough time to see everything there.

Kiscelli Museum is set in a beautiful building in a leafy courtyard, a short distance from Budapest's city centre. We enjoyed getting out of the craziness and into a more normal, lived in part of the city as we journeyed on the tram.

What was particularly interesting for us were the old guild and shop signs, however the content of the museum is varied and, at some points, unexpected (as a few rooms also house art exhibitions and displays).

Fascinating museum, well laid out into different aspects of life through the past couple of centuries, domestic, travel and leisure, thousands of artefacts on display well labelled on the walls and in printed sheets in English. One comes away wanting to find out more which is always a good sign. Peter from the front desk speaks good English and helped explain the background of the temporary exhibition. Easy to get to by tram but not a lot else to see in that area.

In one of the quiet lanes of Buda is a Ferrenc Puskás Statue, where he shows young kids his special mastery of the ball. I think all the statues are made of bronze. A cool way to honour the footballing great.

We were recommended to visit here by dome friends who had previously been. Really enjoyed the day lots to see however we couldn't find the bat cave or bears😕. Great for kids too as the have a petting area. Price worked out at around £14 for both of us and food and drink was reasonably priced.

Perfect outdoors event for the whole family in a very nice environment. Danube and the Római part is close to the site with playgrounds and lot of fun even for the small ones.

Great experience for the whole family. Leurning about how to make fabrics, colors, design and weaving. Children can make their own stamp. Special is the different machines, jaquard machines for lurex fabrics. The builiding is rebuilded and looks so beautiful. Really helpfull staff.
