Come prepared with flip flops, bathing cap if you are going to lap swim, towels, and patience. First, the prices for admissions were less expensive at the baths and possibly their direct website. They charge different prices depending on what you need. We ended up with lockers rather than individual changing rooms. They were fine!We waited at least 90 minutes despite having pre booked our tickets. It is important to get there either early or late to avoid the afternoon rush. We did not use any of the inside pools but tried all three outside pools. There is a flow of people leaving and people being let in from the line. I would recommend bringing something in to eat as we only bought water with us but saw other clients were prepared. They. do sell food as well. Keep you r eyes open for people leaving the lounge chairs as their is always a bunch of people ready to claim the one newly vacated chair. We were happy to have this experience.

This square stands as a testament to the nation’s past. Statues included figures from the Habsburg dynasty and Seven chieftains of the Magyars. The central feature is the Millennium Monument.

Such a great experience. Loved the things put in the bath for a comfortable spa! the beet on tap was great and relaxing. the water was lush and the bath comfortable. Wish it was actually an hour experience. Only downside was privacy as people would come to the place to look around and could see us. (wasn't an issue) but would if was a romantic place maybe

Recommend going fairly early on a weekday when few people to take in this magical sight! So many different architectural types, wonderful to walk around outside to admire. Just absolutely charming - especially with our guide Julia, from Julia Kraviánszky tours!

Definitely worth a visit if you have a free day in Budapest. Great walking park filled with interesting things to see in a super nice park setting. Also home of the city zoo, Vajdahunyad Castle and Széchenyi Thermal Baths among other attractions.

Love Budapest. My 3rd trip there and highly recommend. This was my first to this park where I came across a statue called Anonymus. At first I thought it was the Grim Reaper because the face is shrouded and dark and hard to see. But evidently it is a scribe from the 11th century and the statue was sculpted in 1907. I took several photos but my favorite is the close up of his face under his shroud. Attached.

Unfortunately closed when we were there but we could enjoy a very nice overview exhibition from a lot of paintings from Renoir which we enjoyed very much. I guess the museum is, from the glimpses we had, very interesting

After visiting Heroes Square we decided to explore the park area and passed this ice rink, one of the largest in Europe, it was just getting set up for the festive period but even the area we saw iced over was huge ,people working on the rink to prepare it ,we grabbed a mulled wine to warm up and watched work progress on the ice rink for a few minute, bet it'll look amazing when it's set up and illuminated, well worth checking out if you're planning a holiday to Budapest and easy to locate by Heroes Square.

Even if it isn't a subject that really interests you the building itself is definitely worth visiting!
The museum is about Hungarian agriculture from the neolithic to the beginning of mechanisation.
There is also an exhibition about Hungarian wine in the basement, about forestry, fishing and hunting.
All in all the exhibition is really well made with a lot of information but a bit old school.

Budapest Plage is not a beach but is another term describing the colonnaded Milennium Monument at Heroes' Square. It is an impressive monument built in 1896 celebrating 1000 years of history since the founding of Hungary when the Magyars conquered the region. The monument has the 7 chieftains of the Magyars at the base of the column is topped by the Archangel Gabriel. In the colonnades are statues of famous Hungarian leaders.

Standing tall in Heroes Square the central piece of the millennium memorial is a 36-meter tall column topped by a 5-meter tall statue of Archangel Gabriel.

    Sparty Party Review

I recently attended a Sparty event and, overall, it was a delightful experience. The ambiance was fantastic, and everyone seemed to be having a great time enjoying the unique combination of a spa and party.

However, my experience was significantly marred by a disturbing incident involving security staff. During the event, I witnessed a man dancing near the stairs when a security camera indicated for him to come over. The man complied, but suddenly, an aggressive security guard rushed at him from behind. The guard violently hit the man, pulled his head down to the water, and punched him hard in the face. It was a shocking and unprovoked act of aggression. The poor guy didn’t seem to have done anything wrong.

Such behavior from security personnel is unacceptable and cast a shadow over an otherwise enjoyable event. I hope the management addresses this issue seriously to ensure the safety and well-being of all guests in the future.

The Mucsarnok is a beautiful art museum on the Hero's Square. It is a neo-classical building inside and out. My absolute favorite part was the "Garden of Philosophy" exhibit. It is an eight-figure sculpture placed at the focus of the exhibition. The sculptures were 3-D printed!

I visited with my children aged 11 and 13. I am a huge circus fan and this did not disappoint. It was not expensive and I highly recommend.
