This is quite a long street that goes from Vorosmarty Square to the Central Market Hall. It has some lovely shops, restaurants and cafes along it but mainly lots of tourist shops selling the same items but at different prices. If you are looking for something specific, the items get cheaper the further away from Vorosmarty Square you get. Nice for a stroll, especially after dark in December when all the fairy lights are on.

The Christmas markets in Budapest are lovely. They are over a couple of sights so make sure you visit them both. (St Stephens Basilica and Vorosmarty Square) They are not massive but enough as lots of the stalls sell similar things anyway. There’s a cute light show on the Basilica which seemed to run on the hour and half past once it had dropped dark. Nice to see if you’re there.
Watch for the prices of food in particular as it is way more than the restaurant prices. We found most drinks weren’t too inflated, but food was nearly double. We thought it would be mainly cash payment but the majority offered card or were card only.

Tucked in at the foot of Elisabeth bridge is this small recently renovated square, seemingly quiet for it location, however the hustle and bustle, is not far away with the touristy vaci street behind the square.

Great experience! Would return the next time I am in Budapest. Just a good Thai massage no funny business like at the other Thai massage spots in town

It may be seen as art by some and as an eyesore by others, but a lot of people stop to admire the statue, and take a picture. It seems to be a meeting place in the March 15 Square neighborhood.

This beautiful monument sits in a very busy square.

The base is made of limestone blocks, and the statue of Vörösmarty is made of Carrara marble.

He is surrounded by representatives of all walks of life:
In the left corner is a worker, hugging his wife and little son.
A little girl holds a bush, with her left hand she holds the hand of a woman holding a garland.
Next to her is a man in fancy Hungarian clothes, with a girl snuggling up to him.
On the right, a female figure with a baby in her arms, a schoolboy in front.
An old peasant leans on his staff, with a flag holder next to him.
    A little student sings.
A farmer and a peasant girl are standing on the edge.
A lady and an adult student are sitting in the back, with a shepherd boy next to them.

The inscription reads: 'Stay loyal to your country, O Hungarian.'

A very nice small shop with thousands Christmas stuff. Wonderful decoration.
I bought nice Christmas lanterns and Christmas animated & musicals scene. Very expensive but very nice.
All the stuff you will find on the Amazon, I checked it, and was a idea to ordered on Amazon online the rest of the stuff for my collection. The price with shipping & EU taxes is around 60% than Philanthia.
But the their shop is very nice, and if you need to see&take this is the nice shop with Christmas stuff/gift in Budapest.
    Recommending!

We spent the afternoon walking around Budapest with Orsolya. She was very responsive to our emails leading up to our tour. We asked her to take us to more intimate, non touristy areas of Budapest and she did not disappoint. We saw places I know we wouldn't have seen on our own and she insured we were walking at a comfortable pace.

We walked through the Great Market Hall and we tasted a wide variety of the meats and vegetables on sale. We had lunch outdoors at a charming cafe, she introduced us to chimney cakes and most importantly she took us to a small, but famous, chocolate chop on a quiet street that had the most incredible designer chocolate.

Orsolya is so knowledgeable and proud of her city. We learned so much about Budapest and Hungarian history. We highly recommend Orsolya to guide you around Budapest.

    We would strongly

Very overpriced for what it is. I went to the one in winter wonderland in London and it was absolutely amazing compared to this. Really poor equipment given and overall incredibly overpriced!

Had the 1hr oil massage. Enjoyed the relaxing massage. It's inside a shopping centre so harder to find. Prices are 2000-3000ft cheaper than other places on the main street.

Great shop. The shop owner Bálint, he takes the time to explain every single detail of every item that he sells and is always available for questions from the clients.
In the shop you travel in time, with real items from Hungarian folklore and art but as well historian items from communist times, soviet union and any country you could imagine.
I order as well from home, and all items were delivered in a quick and safe way to my home.
I would definitely recommend to visit this shop, is definitely a hidden pearl in Budapest.

The fitness center is in a very good area, in the middle of the city. The gym is not huge, the staff is very friendly. If you are looking for a very good personal trainer who speaks English and Spanish, you should go there and look for Migue Serra. His sessions are just perfect: hard but funny, with visible results :), diverse, incomparable, not boring at all...

When I stepped first time into the shop 2 y ago, the magic of the atmosphere spelled me in a moment. I met there with high level of creativity, beautiful shapes, and colors, really surprising materials, and a very complaisant, kind young woman at the desk. I really liked the jewelry and the ceramic pots, but I was also amazed by the things made from bicycle gum, fork or zipper. I found also very interesting clothes. Also, hats made from handmade felt. So many beautiful shades! And the funny earrings! Some seem like bakelite disc, another one is a die! And the cute felt figures! Anytime I am going to Budapest, I always make time to visit this jewelry box.
