If you want to see grand architectural buildings take a walk down this grand boulevard. Neo-Renaissance mansions and palaces can be seen with every step.

This is a small museum dedicated to Franz Liszt. The museum contains some of his works and his piano and is where he once lived.
If you like classical music it's worth going to, but if you aren't that interested you may find it less so.

Budapest is a very pretty city with many beautiful sites to visit. We did a night time cruise on the Danube which was excellent. We stayed in Pest near the big Synagogue so much on offer in this area great Ruin bar. and many places to eat.
We did have a very poor experience on the metro beware when using they have a system where you have to validate your ticket on buses as well..we had no idea and were fined by a very aggressive inspector.
Not a good start to your city.

Poignant to be located outside the Terror Museum, in that they go together to represent the oppression that so many suffered under various regimes.

The museum of Zoltan Kodaly is a very beautiful place, it’s full of his personal belongings, scores, letters, pictures... the problem is that there is nothing in English (just a 2 pages document which tells you more or less what’s in each room), so I had to guess what was written in each explanation of every single document or picture.
It’s a not very big museum, but full of very interesting things from Kodaly, which for us musicians is great to see so close that you can almost touch it!
The woman from the reception was not really kind, all the time controlling where we go, what we do... and she didn’t help. She also forbid us to take any picture (not like in Liszt museum that it was possible to take as much pictures as we wanted).

This is one of four statues that surround, Kodaly Korond, (a beautifully landscaped, circus). This bronze statue is of a great Hungarian general, known as blind Bottyan, as he lost an eye in a battle against the Ottomans.

Begun in Damascus the story of Ghraoui dates to 1805, and since a trip to France in 1931 the family’s name has been involved with top quality Chocolates plus gracious customer service in stores across the Middle East and Europe.

Known for candied Fruits further back, but later affected by political turmoil, Ghraoui in modern times is owned and operated by Bassam S. Ghraoui whose vision has guided expansion to Budapest where his flagship store deals in elegant Bon Bons plus Truffles, Candy and Pate de Fruits.

Priced well compared to competitors, hearts in varying degrees of darkness set next to Chocolates filled with Fruit, best-sellers include Ghouta and Apricots filled with Pistachio plus tablets topped in dried Currants.

We are in Budapest for 4 days, and we used lopifit to explore the main sights of the city. The guided tour started at the evening, at 3pm. It took around 4 hours to get back to the starting point, which is on one of the main avenue of Budapest.
There is also a restaurant/pub in the building so we could eat after the tour.

    I love dancing!
I am learning to dance in the third dance school in Budapest and only Andrea and Endre are able to help us in English during non English class. They are enthusiastic and inspiring teachers! Every time we have fun :)!

We had a great time with Mark and his stylist team in Budapest. Fond the best shopping places, even hidden treasures in the vintage area, and could hunt down all the nice pieces we would have never found for soooo cheap. Great 3 hours trip, that showed the real shopping face wit a native Hungarian in Budapest centre.
