Interesting museum, it is a good engaging way to learn about Hungary's tragic history. It's laid out very well with many interesting historical items. It's worth getting the audioguide (although slightly overwhelming sometimes as there is music in the rooms already). A good way to spend 2+ hours.

Definitely reminded me of strolling the avenues of Paris…beautiful old trees, magnificent homes and buildings and wide streets with views from one end to the other. We walked from the Opera House to Heroes’ Square, which is probably about a mile, but there was no rush and the day was lovely. Great way to see the city and the views/surrounds are terrific.

A place to waste a few hours if its raining!
    Shops, restaurants even tattoo parlours.

This centre has everything under one roof.
Some of the Stores that also have locations on Fashion street seemed to have a larger selection goods in the west end centre.

We were two people who tried the “7 hill” escaperoom, and what an experience!! The game were full of exciting details leading to new clues. A very well composed story behind the room lead to quite a spooky atmosphere combined with the room decorations. We were given 5-10 extra minutes in order to finish the room as an extra gesture.

Our game master Kira we’re great at giving just enough help to get us going without spoiling the game. After the game, we had a great talk about the games and her work as a game master. A big thank you to Kira and her colleague Lea for taking the time for a talk even though the time were getting close to midnight!

Good fun and worth going if your in Budapest to pass time. However it ended a lot quicker than expected ( it only took us about 20 minutes to go around the place) so unsure if £8/£9 is worth the price. Definitely worth a visit if you are nearby.

A very cosy area with a lot of restaurant options. One must be careful on which will you choose as there really are overprized ones... but in general the food is good quality. Ive seen many Hungarians also eating in the area, but it looked like the place they go for a "special occation", not for the daily lunch or dinner.

This is a small museum dedicated to Franz Liszt. The museum contains some of his works and his piano and is where he once lived.
If you like classical music it's worth going to, but if you aren't that interested you may find it less so.

We happened to be walking past so stuck our heads in to look at the railway station. It felt very Eastern European and the locos reminded me of the Top Trumps I played with my brother as a kid.
