This park is located in the heart of Central City of Pest with two large areas of green spaces. It’s a vibrant, lively square with cafes, a grassy expanse, a large reflecting pool and site of the Budapest Eye Ferris wheel. The Ferris wheel ride is quite nice as you get to see panoramic view of the downtown area. There are bench seats under large shady trees that allow people to take a break in the hot summer.
The two significant historic things in the square are; the old bus station and the Danubius Fountain, designed by Miklós Ybl. These beautiful statues of stone represent the main rivers of the country, i.e., Danube, Tisza, Drava, and the Sava. The pedestrian street Vaci Utica is adjacent to the square. Some of the most beautiful buildings in the city are around the square.
There is a also fountain at one end that has a plexiglass bottom that makes the ceiling of the a bar/restaurant down below.
