Beautiful building. Stunning artwork inside. Unfortunately some of it was cordened off for visitors so didn't get the full experinece. Cost of entrance is split into different areas so can go all in or keep it simple by going to church bit only.

Beautiful building both inside and out. Stunning artwork inside and amazing stain glassed windows. Great views of the main chapel from upstairs. When up in the Budacastle area take some time to visit.

This is a memorial to the Jews captured and starved in the Ghetto of Budapest. It is a poignant and important site to remember this atrocity. The Synagogue itself is a building of impressive size and splendour with a tour included in your entry price.

The synagogue was beautiful and the guide very informative. The ghetto almost impossible to read the information as so many people all standing in front. This was January, later in the year must be a nightmare

Gul Babas Tomb is both sentimental and beautiful. If you have Turkish heritage, I think you'd enjoy seeing a bit of your culture preserved and safely kept here in Budapest. The surrounding garden is also wonderful and a great spot to soak up the sun in summer and have good views. The rose is perfect for a little date and is such a romantic setting. The top offers beautiful views of the Danube and the pest side of the city. Watch your step as you go up Gul Babs Tomb. The way up from the 4/6 tram exit is apparently the steepest road in the city.

Interesting church, built on top of ruins. It was part of our day tour with Viking River cruises. You can climb to the top of tower. Also a downstairs that is very interesting. I recommend this, while it is not as spectacular as some churches. It has some very nice things to see.

This church is a Roman Catholic parish church located in the Buda Castle district in Budapest and an example of Italian Baroque architecture. It faces toward the famous Parliament building.

Contruction commenced in 1740 and was completed in 1761.

The church has two spires on its façade.

To reach this historical building catch a metro, tram of bus to Batthyány tér.

    This is a great synagogue.
It is named after the street that it's located in.
It is the largest one in Europe.
You can have a guided tour or a self guided one.
    Very interesting place.

I attended Mass here on Saturday evening at 5 pm. Not crowded and it was quite cool inside even though today was nearly 70 degrees. Very ornate and beautiful inside. We walked around after Mass to view the different side altars and St. Elizabeth of Hungary’s walking stick.

They didn't let me in to hear the shofar, as I'm not a member... Unbelievable how 'houses of god' are closed to public very often.

We found this church by accident - it is not on the tourist route but is well worth going into. It is stunning inside and radiates peace and tranquility. Very beautiful.

In a ton where the Jewish history is so sad, it was such an uplifting experience to see a beautiful Active Synagogue. Rabbi Isaac was so friendly. They were setting up a Shabbat meal for the 100 regulars. Really glad we stopped. Obuda is a fun place to go
