I must admit I was slightly nervous given some of the reviews on this website.

However, I found everyone really helpful when I was trying to find the correct entrance and cabin. I thought the condition of the place was absolutely fine, and it was perfectly clean. It is a big site with three large outdoor pools of very different temperatures; the inside pools are much smaller but going to for half an hour or so. The buildings are very impressive which made it much more than just to my local swimming pool!

All in all I would probably go again if I am back in Budapest but would certainly recommend it to someone who hasn’t been there before.

Just remember to bring a towel and flip-flops. Also for the rectangular pool where people were swimming lengths there was a sign saying that swimming hats were compulsory, although I did notice the odd person in there who did not have one on.

Such a great experience. Loved the things put in the bath for a comfortable spa! the beet on tap was great and relaxing. the water was lush and the bath comfortable. Wish it was actually an hour experience. Only downside was privacy as people would come to the place to look around and could see us. (wasn't an issue) but would if was a romantic place maybe

Fantastic spa pools with plenty of space even on a busy July day. Bar and food available, lots of sunbeds. Take sliders and towel. Warm relaxing indoor pools, warm outdoor pool with overhead water jets, plunge pool, outdoor wave pool (no waves the day I went hence 4*). Indoor swimming pool you need a swimming cap for but we didn't feel we'd missed out not going in this pool. Pay the extra few£ for the locking cubicles, well worth it. We kept all our belongings, phones etc in here safely.

Was a little terrified when I read the other reviews but our experience was totally different!
Friendly and helpful staff also in reception. Two outdoor pools where you need a swimming cap which you can buy from either the spa, or your local market for much cheaper (700 HUF/3 pcs) and one other pool where you dont need it.
Inside several thermal baths and small saunas. Water is clean. I'm recommending to take own snacks because cafe's selection is limited.
Overall I would recommend this place.

As this spa was only about a 10/15 minute walk from my hotel I went midweek after 5pm when it is slightly cheaper entry but still paid extra for access to the outdoor pools and sauna world. Plenty of rows of lockers but communal and didn't see any single sex areas for getting changed.
Inside area bit busier than outside. Actually got to do a little swimming in the slightly cooler outdoor pool as there were only a few people in it. The warmer one was very nice to relax in and be able to look up at the stars and moon though getting out the air temperature was pretty cold so couldn't stay exposed for too long.

Budapest is the place for thermal water. Paskal bath is a newly refurbished bath in Budapest, in a neighbourhood, so you cannot get the historical buildings and feeling of the city. It has a very logical built setup- separate children area with 2 pools, a bit sparated area for wellness ( geothrmal sauna as well, loved it) and also an outside pool area. The food is very basic, so do not fancy for something very special. Being a neighbourhood facility, it is also a great place to see how people from Budapest get a bit of cill-out.

We visited this bath after visiting all five well-known baths of Budapest before. We were unpleasantly surprised when it appeared that no sauna is included in the ticket, It was not clearly designated on the site, it should have been written clearly in the information for each type of the available tickets. Approximately like this: lockers, indoor and outdoor pools are included. Saunas are not included.
Why is it needed? Because general practice is to include sauna use in the ticket,

We came to Budapest for healing, and this was highly unpleasant and spoiled the experience of otherwise not a bad thermal bath.
I hope the administration will pay more attention to clearly designating what is available. And includes sauna use in the ticket as everywhere else in Budapest.
Be attentive if you don't want to pay extra.

I used to like this place, but it is getting worse and worse. Not enough maintanance. Each time we visit less service is available. As it is said for some time the sauna at the pool and the elevators are not working…it used to be a good place to relax.

The Spa department of the Hotel is under the ground. It was a little too small, but that was clear and peacefully. They have one sauna and two steam bath cabins.
