The building has a massive stone facade and inside is built out of steel beams, with easily 60ft ceilings... being a traditional market, the stalls are set up in squares like little permanent shops. On the ground floor are all the food shops (butchers, fruit & veg, sweets, spice etc).
And in the basement level there is an Aldi superstore!..
Circling the space the 1st floor, it has the clothes, bags, keepsakes, hot food etc stalls.
Most, if not all of the shops / stalls look like they have been handed down for several generations of the same family.
It's a great place for a mooch about!.. also good for scaring the wife with the pigs trotters on the stalls!.. lol

Perfect outdoors event for the whole family in a very nice environment. Danube and the Római part is close to the site with playgrounds and lot of fun even for the small ones.

It appears after visiting a many local markets during our travels, these are in our opinion the perfect market for us, we could add one more, (covered). This one is one of several large markets within the city, it has everything you would need for a shopping local experience, there is also a SPAR, for the usual suspects.
