We enjoyed a high quality jazz concert at a relatively low cover charge. The place is frequented by both locals and tourists. Cozy bar outside the concert hall.

A wonderful evening cruising along the river with a live jazz band. The sax player was brilliant. Great food, a lovely helpful waitress and excellent food. Really good value for money evening

Decided to visit this pretty much unknown bar to listen to some Serge Gainsbourg music, so I made a reservation some 10 days in advance. The manager might get frustrated at this stage as I asked what dishes/drinks they have as it was not listed anywhere (for food, he recommended a hummus bar next door, for drinks, I learnt that it is only written on a blackboard).
Upon arrival, we managed to meet the bar manager having fun at the bar, taking a number of seats near the counter with his lady friends, but he could not recall our reservation.
When I asked whether someone took over their FB communication, he felt offended, but then found the messages exchanged. He made no apologies, but finally found a barrel where we could sit.
The concert was excellent, but after an hour he came over (during the live act) whether I called him a moron. His smelled of cigarette smoke and alcohol, so it was no fun to clarify that I did not.
To avoid further questioning and terrible breath, we left the place.
It seems some people fail to recognise that they will never be ready to properly communicate, to manage such a tiny place or become a decent human being as they are missing the very basics of social interaction.
But you may get lucky when he is out of town.
