Very nice place but it can be crowded. We borrowed towels from the hotel, you can buy slippers at the place, we bought the tickets there, the same day. It a nice place to relax if you don't mind crowded places. We loved it.

I can’t express how good this experience was. My girlfriend planned this surprise for my 22nd birthday and I think it was perhaps the best thing I’ve done. We were served by Szilárd Sörfürdő who was really helpful and showed us around the baths. We both had a tub to ourselves but they did offer one for us to share; they are too small for 2 people haha. We had 45 mins of unlimited beer from the Czech Craft Brewery (really good lager in my opinion). They explain which ingredients go in the tub and you basically bathe in malt hops and salt (no you can’t drink the water). They also gave us some little snacks to enjoy with the beer and after our time was up the woman let us pour one last glass to enjoy in the waiting room which was very nice. Included with this was a full day entry to the Szechenyi Thermal Baths and changing room/locker so we could store all our belongings there for the day. 10/10 experience and a must do! The building, and its architecture are quite amazing and the baths are clean and beautiful. Signage could be better and customer service is rather limited though if you can hunt somebody down, they will help you with directions. my advice is do your homework before you go, but definitely include this in your trip. It’s a very nice experience. I’m like anything we have in the United States.

I have given that a 5 star review as its such a unique experience. We visited in March. The outdoor temp of the water isn't super hot but its fine for a swim. The indoor water is hot so most people were in there. My tip is bring your own food as the food is terrible. And also hire a pool noodle! Everyone uses one. It's 38 mtrs deep at some points so safer to have a noodle. The wellness area is separate and you have to pay extra for it. It's nothing fancy and you do get a lot of men wandering about naked which if your like me is something you don't want to be subjected to! So maybe give it a miss. There are 2 pools and saunas of varying temperatures but it isn't very well maintained.

Very cool experience exploring through the caves in the thermal water, the water doesn’t seem nearly as warm as advertised.

Had free entry with the Budapest card. I was a bit sceptical as some reviews were not great but myself and my husband thoroughly enjoyed it.
They do stipulate swimming caps in the outside pools but we used shower caps from our hotel and they worked fine.
    Thermal spa was brilliant.
Went about 9.30 am, was not too busy then.

Our family of five (jncl. Three teenage boys) visited these thermal baths in late December. It’s clearly a place that hosts lots of activity in warmer months - it seems to just go on and on with connections to outdoor areas with lots of seating/lounging/dining opportunities. We enjoyed the pool complex - and in particular we liked the recreational leisure pools with water slides and the hot smelly dark thermal pools.

As this spa was only about a 10/15 minute walk from my hotel I went midweek after 5pm when it is slightly cheaper entry but still paid extra for access to the outdoor pools and sauna world. Plenty of rows of lockers but communal and didn't see any single sex areas for getting changed.
Inside area bit busier than outside. Actually got to do a little swimming in the slightly cooler outdoor pool as there were only a few people in it. The warmer one was very nice to relax in and be able to look up at the stars and moon though getting out the air temperature was pretty cold so couldn't stay exposed for too long.

Both me and my parents were pleasantly surprised. The place is huge so anyone can find something for themselves. I really enjoyed the inside pools and the heated ones. Slides are great fun!!
The biggest downside is the price really, it's rather expensive, but it's not extreme compared to other attractions

We went for a couple’s massage. It was a great experience. The staff was professional and helpful. We even got complimentary champagne, tea, snacks and could try the massage chairs.
The spa is beautifully designed, very modern but authentic. Would recommend.

PLace is good for families, as for children you can find the various pools with different sice and water depth, water slides and various attraction. For adults is nice 50m pool for swimming. For older there are some termal baths..There are some fastfood restaurants as well with reasonable prices. Entrance fee is really good. Regarding the negatives:
    - please take in consideration that in sommer not all food sellers could not keeep the hygiencial and storing rules - personal experience with stomach problems.
    - In 50m swimming pool there are also the water polo practises, from my point of view quite big portion of time was occupied with them and mostly in top time (from 10.00-.13.00 and then from 16.00- almost to the end..), this was really negative experience for me..
    - toilets are distributed in strange way, mostly concentrated in one sector of area and also some of then are not very well anounced (identified only as changing rooms...)
    - eglish could be more used especially in downtown (in pools area it is ok..), not necessary to have english speaking person but to have the menu in dueal language I do not consider as a realy hard job.....if you wanna use foregin language when you buy a ticket, please forget it
From my point of view resort in not changing in time, or really slowly - in positive and negative way..

It is quite a big swimming pool especially when the outdoor pool is opened. Due to the temperature (around 20 degree Celsius) the outdoor pool was not accessible unfortunately. Inside there is a big pool with waves (ones every hour), two children’s pools, a warm outside pool and a whirlpool. Adults can also attent the thermal bath. There are two slides (children need to have a shoulder length of 120cm) one with a tube the other without.

Really cheap baths with 4 big thermal water swimming pools. We spend in those baths whole day. I think that there could be progress with cabins for redressing but finally for price 1500HUF it is OK. If weather is not good (rainy) than it is not possible to hide somewhere. So Im recommending just during nice weather. There is also aqua-park part for kids.

A nice spa for families and elderly. Younger visitors can also find fun, there an outside pool and a tobogan, but you can enjoy them only in warm weather. The inside restaunat is not bad, but the outside one is much better when it cmes to variety of meals. And if you want to see some nice places and some culture, old historical towns of Koszeg and Szombathely are nearby. Only one things bothered me in the Buk spa - the horrible "Csiki" beer they offer in the lobby bar. I really do not get why they have had it for two years already. They should really leave it out of the menu and replace it. Luckily, you can get a normal beer (e.g. Staropramen) in the bars and restaurants inside and outside.
