The best part was the atmosphere: it was fun and charming during the chocolate festival: all the vendors in the streets, live music in a relaxed atmosphere.

This walk is less steep than Mala Osojnica, takes about 15 minutes longer and runs though a forested area so the surroundings are very different.
While hiking to Osojnica stop by to this Ojstrica peek, for a unique view of the lake and its surrounding area.

The terrain is quite rough, lots of tree roots as well as loose shale but it is manageable with anyone with a reasonable degree of fitness but hiking shoes or something with toe protection is a must.
Sensible shoes are advised but we saw people doing it in flip flops :) make sure you take plenty of water and a camera to capture all the amazing views.

It stands on Bled Island, a tiny tear-shaped island in the middle of beautiful Lake Bled in Slovenia.
Having been rowed over in a traditional rowing boat I made sure to ring the bell in the church, whilst making a wish.

The fitness trail was great fun for those who like trail running/walking with the odd fitness station along the way for example monkey bars and pull up bar.
The speed when traveling down can be controlled using the brake on the ride, but it'll be more fun if you ride down without braking often :) Was a fun experience, would recommend if you are done with exploring Ble...
