- MrMrsHappyRLiverpool, UK902 contributionsGreat zoo to visit. It's approx 30 minutes walk from the Old Town but a very nice walk over the bridge. Animals are well looked after and the enclosures seem fair. The only improvement would be to improve the map which is a bit confusing. Alternative improvement would be to have a set lined route that you can see most of the zoo enclosures as you keep doubling back if you've missed something. Overall great value at 20 PLN.Written October 19, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- sorchastoklosaCork, Ireland6 contributionsThe birds will be hungry if you go early do purchase some food. They sometimes bite you but if you don't mind being bitten I suggest this placeWritten September 26, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

- Andrzej SWarsaw, Poland66 contributionsWow... There are no words to describe the horror that we have encountered under this address.
The Main problem is that the owners and the empoyees of this facility are not capable or as they say willing to help people inside the "flight zone". The birds are starving and they are attacking each and every person entering the area with "food" in the small cupboard container.
The staff is not willing to help if something is wrong, i was swarmed by 3-4 parrots (the blue big ones) trying to get into one small container with food, trying to hide it (as the employees suggested) will not do you any good. My kids were actually trying to do this, but the birds were still trying to get them even from beneath the cloths.
Basically owner is stating that if you have paid and entered you are on your own and himself or any of his employees is not obliged to help you. My daugher (10 years) was trying to get rid of the big parrot that sat on her head and was punching her with her wings to get food. Basicaly the employee was looking with a smile and doing perfectly nothing. my boy (8 years) were crying as he was not able to get rif fo the bird even after throwing away food - and the staff did nothing... only after I shouted at him once i was not able to help my kid.
The approach of the owner is a sign that still some of facilities in Poland are being taken care by people from previous system...
You can decide if you want to visit it - but i would strongly suggest to find another bird aviary.. even in Warsaw. Unless you enjoy being hunted by birds, with very sharp claws. Explanation from owners that this is the regular way how the parrots are acting is a joke. I would recommend him/her to go see "Carmen" and check how Parrots can be peacefull and happy when being fed and attended to.
