This is a large park in downtown Warsaw. The encompassing fountain is the major highlight while the leafy boulevard with statues is impressive. It is great for a rest while exploring the Polish capital.

Great zoo to visit. It's approx 30 minutes walk from the Old Town but a very nice walk over the bridge. Animals are well looked after and the enclosures seem fair. The only improvement would be to improve the map which is a bit confusing. Alternative improvement would be to have a set lined route that you can see most of the zoo enclosures as you keep doubling back if you've missed something. Overall great value at 20 PLN.

Park Ujazdowski is one of the most picturesque parks in Warsaw and dates back to the 1890's. At the time of its foundation, the park was one of the most modern in Europe. It featured a large pond, fountains and a reinforced-concrete bridge over the southern part of the pond. The bridge was the second construction built of reinforced-concrete in the world, after the bridge in Viggen, Switzerland (1894). Open year round and free to enter this is a pleasant place to walk with sculptures to admire.

A very beautiful garden, containing a variety of plants. It has some very beautiful compartments, just like the rose garden. It is not as big as other gardens (Bucharest's or Geneva's for instance) but it is worth a visit for a nice strolling around.

The vast garden surrounding the popular Wilanów Palace is a lovely place to spend an afternoon. The landscaped Italian garden is impressive and encompassing. A stroll around is the best way to understand the heyday of the Polish empire.

A place of memories. A good place for a picnic and to spend time outside the hustle and bustle of the city.

Trip Advisor translated the name of this Warsaw's park wrong. In polish Pola Mokotowskie (plural, not singular) translates Mokotowskie Fields, not Field!!!!

I took the metro line 2 and got off at “Centrum Nauki Kopernik”. It is the closest river spot one can access using public transport, and being a hot day the place was overcrowded. Too overcrowded for me, because there were all kinds of noise, which hardly made it a place to relax. Of course since I was a tourist I only took into consideration the positive aspects. There were youngsters sitting by the river banks, others who were cycling, some people were having a drink at the floating bar, I think there was also a restaurant as well. There was a group of athletes, let's say around 12 people, who had very loud music and were exercising (more like break dancing did it seem to me), as if they were all alone there. It is fun to take a walk by the river, all rivers have a certain charm, and from what I saw I guess it would be better for someone to avoid visiting on weekends.

We enjoyed our visit to Warsaw Zoo. We took the tram there so entered at a corner of the park which was convenient but the entrance at the main avenue probably offers a better arrival view. We purchased a family ticket (2 adults + 2 children). The girls enjoyed seeing the animals, but as other reviews have mentioned there were some big misses. No lions or tigers (oh my!) but as a Zoo it seemed clean and well maintained. Delighted with giant ice-creams too. Some of the indoor areas were newer than others, and the indoor toilets at the hippos were much newer and quieter than those on the main drag.

Zegrzynski is awesome for getting in some sailing skills before heading out to Mazury. There are quite a few good schools around offering various sailing courses in several types of boats, like Laser, dinghy and cruiser. There are also beaches, several restaurants and hotels and plenty of romantic spots for lounging at the water side. Nice area and easily reachable from Warsaw (except maybe in the warm season when half of Warsaw goes there).

Compared to other parks in Warsaw this one is not big at all, but compensates in somewhat modern look, and a bit of sporty atmosphere, compared to other parks which are more for easy walks and relaxing.
