What travelers are saying
- ZajączkowskaKrakow, Poland37 contributionsVery nice place to visit. It is worth to choose the ,, visiting palace” option. The price for visiting is the same but you are guided with a tour guide.Written February 19, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Alexander C3 contributionsDecent museum with a lot to do, good for an afternoon. Mainly features medieval to early modern art, with a few things from the early 1900s. Temporary exhibition was ok.Written January 8, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- ajbucketBicester, UK143 contributionsThe neon signs and their history were fascinating and it’s great to see this more recent part of history preserved. The only negative is that the museum is very small. Perhaps some thought should be given to extending the exhibitions.Written April 5, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- AlexanderOrlikWarsaw, Poland388 contributionsLike all contemporary art, many exhibited works in need of explanation. In the Museum, a pleasant atmosphere and the buffet. You can read many books about contemporary art for free.Written March 12, 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- curlewGravesend, UK385 contributionsInteresting little museum focused on contemporary art.. and from what I could see not permanent exhibitions. We found it interesting and the exhibits also had English translations including English subtitles for some of the video installations.Written January 1, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Ross WBerwick upon Tweed, UK181 contributionsFantastic exhibition made from scrap metal, the cars and the Film figures were wonderfully made no problem about getting into the cars or on the bikes. Also went up to the 33rd floor great views. The building was built late 50s early 60s by Stalin ( Russia)Written September 10, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- RSsydneySydney, Australia989 contributionsWe had planned to attend a Chopin concert while in Warsaw. There are lots of locations where these concerts are conducted, we selected the concert at the Museum, a short walk from our hotel. It was a truly memorable event for us.Written February 27, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- SilveroscarLisburn, Co. Antrim, N. Ireland264 contributionsUnless you are really interested in the history of graphic design or old movies, there's not much to excite here. However as an artist i found it interestingWritten July 30, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Vignes KGdansk, Poland27 contributionsNice place to walk and see the sculptures. Free entry to sculpture park. Also the Krolikarnia Palace houses artworks in form of temporary exhibitions.Written March 9, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Heron-DoveParis, France53 contributionsBródno Sculpture Park is a beautiful public art project by the acclaimed artist Paweł Althamer in collaboration with the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw.
A beautiful sculpture park where to have a long afternoon following a magic path from one sculpture to the next. We encountered installations, sculptures and different contemporary art works all inscribed in the environment of the park and the social life of residents. A sound piece signs between the trees, a golden guardian angel rise up over a trunk protecting the journey, and sometimes if lucky a strange installation is animated by local people and transformed into a bar! This is art that usually one sees in the frame of art centre or museum, but here lives in open air free to everyone and waiting just to be enjoyed. Inaugurated in June 2009, the Brodno Sculpture Park is intended to be a long-term project, involving artists, residents of Bródno district, city council officers and an art institution.
With sculpture by Paweł Althamer, Youssouf Dara, Olafur Eliasson, Jens Haaning, the group Nowolipie, Susan Philipsz, Katarzyna Przezwańska, Monika Sosnowska, and Rirkrit Tiravanija.Written April 13, 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Mia Bui1 contributionIt’s really beautiful and nice service. - PawelJKPennington, NJ132 contributionsAll depends on the exhibitions which change often. The staff of the museum is very friendly and helpful. We have seen a movie which was bizarre (to be expected in the contemporary art museum) and Janek Simon's exhibition which had some interesting parts: Nollywood (Nigerian movie industry) - idea of remaking Polish classic "Ashes and Diamonds" in the Hollywood convention, reflections on Polish maritime traditions and colonial ambitions from 1930-s.
There is a good restaurant in the building and if you like long walks, you can start there and walk towards the river and continue on Vistula Boulevards towards the Old Town making a long, diverse and satisfying day.Written May 25, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
