- MaelicordiaLodz, Poland710 contributionsIt seemed to be the city's main tourist attraction, so we were eager to visit. However, the place has little information about the castle or the region itself. The exhibition includes many random items not described, so you do not know what you are looking at. There are some screens, but they were switched off. The staff seemed irritated that they had some guests. What was strange as well, was that 2 floors of the museum were devoted to a temporary exhibition of hunting equipment and rewards of a local hunting group. Beware of stepping on the carpet, it is not marked as a part of the exhibition in any way but the staff scolds you when you step on it. If you do not know Polish well, bring a translator. Most of the texts are not translated and the ones that are have many linguistic mistakes and inaccuracies.Written August 22, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Dominik KiezikWarsaw, Poland5,363 contributionsNow there is an archive there and before that there was a library. In my opinion, the right concept of replacing the library with a new one resulted in the fact that the Piotrków archive gained a very good and respectable building. I was. It is well-kept and nice service.Written November 19, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
