Worth to start visitting city from this place. You can get very clear information what to do and where to go. We have also got some map and leaflets.

The old market square in Piotrków Trybunalski is part of the oldest, medieval part of the city. It is the focal point of the very well-preserved urban layout of the Old Town since the Middle Ages and Market Square, along with the entire Old Town, is entered in the register of monuments as "Old Town District - Trybunalski Square".

The Church of the Saint Jacob in Piotrkow Trybunalski is one of the most important sacred buildings in Poland. It was built before 14th century and is the oldest church in this city.

This neo-Byzantine church on a Greek cross plan was erected in the years 1844–1847 according to the design of architects Gołoński and Marczewski. I was visitting it on Sunday and it was quite many people praying, probably mostly from Ukraine.

It seemed to be the city's main tourist attraction, so we were eager to visit. However, the place has little information about the castle or the region itself. The exhibition includes many random items not described, so you do not know what you are looking at. There are some screens, but they were switched off. The staff seemed irritated that they had some guests. What was strange as well, was that 2 floors of the museum were devoted to a temporary exhibition of hunting equipment and rewards of a local hunting group. Beware of stepping on the carpet, it is not marked as a part of the exhibition in any way but the staff scolds you when you step on it. If you do not know Polish well, bring a translator. Most of the texts are not translated and the ones that are have many linguistic mistakes and inaccuracies.

Beautiful old cemetery with very interesting 19. century tombstones. It is a great pitty that is so neglected.

A characteristic landmark of Piotrków Trybunalski. it was built in the interwar period, it remained after the war. it is close to the train station. it looks quite majestic but unfortunately it cannot be visited. a commemorative plaque is also embedded.

An interesting gadget to add to the fabric of the city. Vabank was a fairly well-known comedy film in Poland and was partly shot as far as I know in Piotrków Trybunalski. many sayings from the film made their way into the spoken language in Poland. a person from outside the Polish cultural circle may not understand this bench, which is not bad, so I explain the meaning
