- Safari814812Taunton, UK6 contributionsA fun hour at the museum of soap and dirt. Our guide spoke amazing English and was very enthusiastic about his work. Very interesting tour and we loved making our own soapsWritten October 15, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Dominik KiezikWarsaw, Poland5,359 contributionsBydgoszcz was initially given the perhaps correct opinion that it was not very pretty. The last time I was there was at least 5 years ago, if not more. Now I'm back and I'm quite positively surprised. A lot has changed. This attraction still amazes me and makes me reflect positively on the balance of our lives, fun and responsibility. How fragile it is.Written January 13, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Dominik KiezikWarsaw, Poland5,359 contributionsA very beautiful fountain. Unfortunately it wasn't working when we arrived. It is turned on for warm months. Which did not change my opinion about the quality of the beautiful sculptures that constitute this fountain. It's worth visiting, there's a very nice grove nearby and a nicely restored church.Written January 13, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Dominik KiezikWarsaw, Poland5,359 contributionsThe market has changed very positively. It used to be quite dusty and gray. Now it looks really nice and reflects the atmosphere of the city. I was surprised. There's still some renovation to do, but it's really good. Bydgoszcz is changing its opinion in my eyes.Written January 13, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- David RWirral, UK334 contributions2 miles north of city past Philharmonic and football stadium. Bus 52 used for return cheaper than taxi. Get off at Zoo which is pretty small and cheap. One hour for two elderly walkers.
Vast area for walkers joggers etc with lake and restraunts kiosk bars? probably open in the summer but not in March. Scenic and flattish and HUGE area. Plenty of wildlife and noisey swans. Only spent one hour walking after shorter time around zoo. Different.Written March 19, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. I much preferred it to Gdansk and Torun, although they are quite an easy journey from here. Bydgoszcz feels like a real living place, whereas the other two cities felt like film sets and tourist haunts. It's a lovely place to walk around and the setting with the river running through it is beautiful. It's got a great set of restaurants for lunch or evening meals, and it's very lively in the evenings. It's a place where lots of people seem to have fun. The architecture is lovely too, and it's all very walkable. I'd happily come back whereas I'll never go to Gdansk or Torun again. I came in early September when it was very warm. I have no idea what it would be like in colder weather. I got a place to stay right in the centre, and it was a great location. The centre of the old town is about a mile from the main station, but it's an interesting walk.Written September 4, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Beth C4 contributionsHighly recommend this place, easy enough to get to on the tram, does seem like you’re walking to the middle of nowhere but its easy enough to find,
Wasn’t expecting such a big selection of games, great for the price!! Make sure to take your student card as that gets you discount.

- eagertraveller123UK1,336 contributionsI love these polish dancing fountains. Saw one in krakow too. This one is truly beautiful, the colours and composition are lovely and the music is really nice (a mixture of polish traditional, polish rock and American music)Written August 13, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - pawel_hbgSopot, Poland16,816 contributionsThe Archer Lady Statue is one of the symbols of Bydgoszcz. It is located in the Jan Kochanowski Park in the vicinity of the Polish Theatre and the Pomeranian Philharmonic. The sculpture was designed by Ferdinand Lepcke and was unveiled on the 18th of October 1910 and used to change its location several times.Written May 17, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Moreira717Bydgoszcz, Poland1 contributionWe were in Bydgoszcz this week and wanted to try out an Escape Room. We had heard about escape rooms before but just never got around to trying one out and so we didn't know what to expect. After asking around, “Legenda Miecza” was the one recommended so we decided to give it a try. First off I was pleased that the instructions were available in both Polish and English. I am from Canada and don't speak Polish so the English instructions was a must. My family went with me and the 3 of us had a fantastic time. We didn’t know what to expect and actually thought it wasn't going to be that difficult. We were pleasantly surprised at how challenging it was and that it required the brain power from the 3 of us. We were stuck a number of times and welcomed the hints we were given from time-to-time. There was a lot of creativity put into this escape room which explains why it was rated high by other people. We were constantly surprised at the imagination put into the riddles you had to solve. I would definitely recommend this escape room and wish we had a few more days in Bydgoszcz so we could do it again. I heard they are planning more rooms so this will give us a reason to come back to Bydgoszcz.Written August 26, 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
