- endrju_74Ipswich, UK4,837 contributionsThis is yet another branch of local museum, called Muzeum Okręgowe - Wyspa Młyńska (Mill Island) is full of them. This one concentrates on modern art - not being the biggest fan of modern art I was keen to pass by this one, but then - why not give it a shot, who knowes when we'll get a chance to go back to Bydgoszcz. Large building, which I was more interested in, than the display itself, as it is one of former granaries, called Red Granary. Must have undergone a refurbishement quite recently, as looks new and sparkling, with flashy new glassed bit. Exhibition itself not the biggest I saw, but it takes some time to get around it, Some nice instalaltions. It was pretty much empty on that saturday midday time, so we had that al for ourselfs. - Matthew TGdansk, Poland1 contributionThe bottom floor is an auction house with artwork from the 19th century. Upstairs is a sculpture exhibition featuring Polish sculptor Stanislaw Horno-Poplawski. There's also a fantastic VR which was worth seeing. The staff were friendly and helpful.
