The Bydgoszcz cathedral dates back to 15th century and was built in Gothic style. We were simply stunned by the interior - colourful polychromes, stained glass windows, fantastic architecture (vault). You've got to see it by yourself.

Not only the sheer scale and grandeur of this building is impressive but you simply must take a look inside. The ornate and detailed works are a thing of art and the ceiling is something to behold

This lovely red-brick Gothic church with a few Renaissance touches was built between 1582 and 1602. It was built on the site of a previous wooden church and hospital. And officially was named the Church of the Ascension of the Virgin Mary. It is known locally as the 'Church of the Poor Clares' as it was the home of the Order of the Poor Clares, a female denomination of the Franciscan order, from 1619 until 1835. What is interesting the building was turned into a warehouse and later a fire station during the Prussian occupation of the city.

Saint Andrew Bobola's Church is located in the centre of Bydgoszcz and is now registered on the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship Heritage List . Its patron saint is the Polish Jesuit Andrew Bobola and the edifice, completed in 1903, was designed by German architect Heinrich Seeling.

Saint Peter and Paul Church was designed by Berlin architect, Friedrich Adler. The cornerstone was placed in 1872 and the old Protestant church, now Catholic, was consttructed on the plan of the Latin cross.
