Called in here mainly because of TA reviews to try and work out why a picture gets such a high rating.

Now I know I can see its appeal, despite the relatively high entry price.

A detailed painting on a massive scale, 14m high x 114m long, with a physical foreground which looks almost as if it merges into the painting. An audio guide helps understand the building and the painting if you are not able to understand Polish.

Also, don't miss the small room near the toilets which runs you through the battle with a relief map project and 360 degrees surround visuals.

Perfect getaway and kids love this place. Great knowledge from crew. In cool underground location. lot’s of old retro games and feel. All playable. A huge effort has been done to make this possible.

Pop in to soak in the beauty of lovingly restored auditoriums there and climb 200 steps to the top of mathematical tower to enjoy the views over the city.

The building was erected in 1886 right on the bank of the Odra River. The current collection consists of 200,000 items. Very nice three permanent exhibitions. Silesian art of the 14th - 16th centuries on the first floor. On the second floor, there are two exhibitions - one presents Silesian art from the 17th to the 19th centuries, and the other to European art from the 15th to 20th centuries. A very large collection of religious sculptures and paintings. The museum building itself is covered with ivy from the outside. A place worth visiting.

I found it interesting that this was an old air raid shelter that’s been turned into a museum! There is plenty to see and even play a few interactive games. The price is cheap and you can purchase when you are there. Highly recommend!

I'm pleased that I had a chance to see this museum: airy and spacious rooms, fascinating pieces of contemporary art, convenient location. I was impressed by the pieces of art. Definitely, it's a worthwhile place to come and enjoy art. I would recommend it to everyone. We were here with our seven-year son, and he wasn't bored. As for me, some pieces were horrible and frightful, but I consider it an excellent approach to raising your emotions anyway. I've found a lot of fascinating paintings, regardless.
The museum has a small café inside.
The service was helpful and cheap, so I liked the place.

Not far from Wroclaw - great place for spending the afternoon. Lot's of walking paths in a beautiful scenery. And a must is to visit the Automobile Museum with interesting exhibits and very safe for visitors. Parking spaces easily available.
And ladies were enjoying free entrance, since it was the Women's Day weekend.

The museum consists of three permanent exhibitions. Here, you can learn about literature and political moods from the Romantic era. Of course, there is plenty of information about Adam Mickiewicz's biography. Then, we will come across personal belongings of Jeziorański and Bartoszewski. The guiding theme of the tour is freedom. In the end, we will delve into some poetry from the manuscripts of Wrocław's poet - Tadeusz Różewicz. You can enrich your time in the museum by visiting the museum's bookstore and the café "Ashes and Diamonds."

There are seven different Museums that are part of the City Museum - at different locations. Make sure you know what you want to see before finalizing your plans.

These are the Archaeological Museum, the Historical Museum, the Museum of Medallion Art, the Museum of Military, the Museum of Bourgeois Art, the Museum of Cemetery Art and the Henryk Tomaszewski Theatre Museum.

The different museums are located at the Old Town Hall, the Royal Palace, the City Arsenal and the Old Jewish Cemetery.

Many reviews under this listing are confusing because they are only sporadically for the accurate museum. So check the website for the actual museum, location and opening times before deciding which to visit.

They have a excellent display of period guns from a number of countries around the world from the 20th century.
The museum also has a good display of primitive weapons on display from Middle Ages incl suits of armor styles.
They also gave a good selection of 19th century cavalry weapons.

Stunning paintings and sculptures. Even though they are +20 yrs old, they don't seem outdated - except for the lame painting of Einstein 😝 Plan at least 1 hour just for the permanent exhibition.

This was a very good and informative museum with a focus on Wroclaw's history, but also with an art exhibit (which was good) and our ticket also included entry to the Dali exhibit at the town hall. The history of Wroclaw/Breslau/Wratislava is extremely varied and wasn't under Polish control for 610 years, so you get a real sense of the different influences over the course of the centuries. It is a good way to spend a few hours.
