What travelers are saying
- MagdalenaSan Jose, California, United States37 contributionsCharming European city square with good eating options and hotels nearby. The square is full of old-style buildings, which are nonetheless well maintained. Great city to visit! Probably my favorite city to visit in Poland after Cracow and Warsaw.Written August 13, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Sara MSan Jose, Costa Rica6 contributionsI haven't been to Europe before, but I have seen photos of similar old towns from other countries. This was as beautifual as any other, clean, peaceful, and safe.Written July 12, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Stefanie HLincoln, NE1,413 contributionsThis area of Wroclaw is very beautiful and peaceful. We visited at dusk, so we found the lamplighter and got to see the cathedral lit up. There weren't a lot of visitors there at the same time, so it felt like we had the place to ourselves. There is a lot of signage on the buildings to give more information, as well as pictures of the area when it was bombed during WWII as compared to now. I would consider Cathedral Island a don't-miss part of Wroclaw!Written July 2, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - globalfamily186338London, UK30 contributionsIt is a 30 min audio tour (audios in other languages available) which looks at the detail of this enormous painting. There's also a 15-20 min animation downstairs (easily missed - near the toilets) which gives some other contextual information.Written August 13, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - globalfamily186338London, UK30 contributionsI would say it is comparable with the ones in Barcelona, but without the massive crowds. There are displays on the hour, every hour for about 10-15 minutes.Written August 13, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Scenic126102951111 contributionIt was such a flashback to childhood memories and a good lesson in how computers and games developed since beginning. The greatest part was that you got to experience games hands on. A perfect place for friend groups, couples, families with kids and of course computer geeks.Written June 28, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Jonnyconcrete1Huddersfield, UK177 contributionsThese are worth a visit whilst visiting the big park which it is in. The gardens aren't very big but there are some nice photo opportunities and the lake in the middle has some really big Koi Karp.

- Mrsj131Ayrshire, UK474 contributionsBeing a practicing Catholic this cathedral didn't disappoint. I was lucky enough to arrive just as mass was beginning and it was beautiful.
