The old town square not just the size of it it's the Polish Architecture of the building dating back generations is stunning. What makes me proud to watch is all primary school and Secondary school classes get taken to krakow square to educate them on there polish history and culture in the square every single day it's fantastic values . I'm from Scotland uk and sorry to say the UK values and cultures are long gone now. We could learn a lot from Polish values and customs

Great museum that tells the story of the occupation of Poland. The exhibition is authentic, interactive, and very creative. I really enjoyed it, and I think that this place should be the first one to visit if you are into history

This is a must-do activity when you visit Krakow. The Castle dominates the city and is a beautiful experience walking through the grounds. Everyone who goes to Krakow visits the Castle. The problem is that the city knows this and there are monetary micro-transactions everywhere to see different elements of the castle itself (e.g., royal garden, dragon den). Moreover, there are tonnes of tourists and huge queues to get a guided tour at the ticket office.

My advice ... don't get a guided tour. Just walk around the grounds. Some people think they need to go to the ticket office to pay for admission, but admission to the grounds is actually free. The office is only for guided tours. So, you often see people queuing for ages for no reason thinking that is the only way to see the Castle.

The grounds are lovely, free, and enough of an experience to get a sense of Wawel.

The Old Town of Krakow is sensational.

Start at the northern point with the Barbican and St Florian's Gate, wander down Ulica Florianska, arrive at the Old Market Square (with incredible buildings such as the Cloth Hall, St. Mary's Basilica and the Town Hall Tower), then continue south along Ulica Grodzka (with the Church of St Peter and St Paul, the Church of St Martin, the Church of St Andrew and the Church of St Giles and much much more) and finish off at Wawel Castle & Cathedral.

I'm not a religious man and in Krakow they do like a church/chapel.

St Mary's is stunning no matter what your beliefs and well worth a visit.

Situated in the main square it's easily accessible and free to enter.

    Go on, get yourself involved.

Kazmierz is the historic Jewish quarter of Krakow. I purchased a guidebook to Jewish Krakow from the tourist information office and visited many of the sights in this neighborhood. See the synagogues, monuments, shops, and restaurants. The Old Synagogue is now a museum of Jewish history and culture. The Remuh Synagogue is still in use today. The Galicia Jewish Museum has some interesting photos. There is much evidence of the former Jewish culture here. Be sure to enjoy a meal at one of the many Jewish restaurants. (I ate at Ariel and Klezmer Hois and wrote separate reviews for them.)

What a cracking museum for airplane enthusiasts, history buffs and those with no particular interest in aviation. At the equivalent of just £6 for a regular ticket, it’s worth every penny. There’s lots to see and the exhibitions are really interesting and well done. It’s very easy to get to via a tram from the old town. Would highly recommend spending a morning or afternoon here.

A great place not only for children. Exhibits for true enthusiasts and more. An ideal point for a trip but you have to take into account that it is tempting to buy all the treasures 😃

If you love pinball and vintage gaming in general you will love this place!! Would recommend getting the day pass as time really does fly by. Such a great array of games and a super chilled atmosphere. Small cafe at the top of the stairs too (not by the same place) which was useful for a break. I would definitely come here again next time I'm in Krakow.

Wawel Cathedral is iconic to Krakow. It's a hike up there, but if I can do it, you can too. We didn't tour the Castle, just the Cathedral. The view is great. There is a Commemorative Coin as with most European Cathedrals.

There were 70,000 Jews living in Krakow prior to World War II. 65,000 of them perished in the Holocaust. The Holocaust Memorial in in Ghetto Heroes Square has 65 empty chairs to symbolise the loss. It's a poignant reminder.
