Very nice old church. I liked to architecture and all art. It is a little bit crowded and you have to buy tickets in the building opposite, but worth the visit.

It is surrounded by a lovely park, where one can relax, read, go cycling. Well preserved buildings and some churches all around old town. There are souvenir shops, restaurants and horse carriages adding to the local folklore. There is also a big arcade with shops selling mostly amber. In the beginning of June, when I visited the city, there were many tourists in the area(but not so many as to become a nuissance) although the weather was not warm. So, I guess, this is when it is considered a good time to visit and enjoy. The place is easily accessible by tram connections and has a lively atmosphere. It was a positive experience and I would like to visit again sometimes in future, because it is not a small area and one can enjoy more visits.

have walked round each time I've been but this was first time i have been inside the castle. we did the state rooms and the treasury the royal gardens and dragons den. i must admit there wasn't as much as i expected in the state rooms, but the guide did state a lot was destroyed or lost during ww2 , so its mainly odd bits of furniture and lots of tapestry's. The garden was very disappointing, but it was at least free with the other tickets . wasn't too bothered about the dragons den cave, but sure the kids loved it.

Of all the museums and tours we did in krakow we enjoyed this one the most. Such interesting exhibitions where we learnt a lot. I would advise getting there early as I think it gets very busy. Also part of krakow museum free days so I’d check for that too.

This district was my favourite in Krakow. I felt right at home. A great place for street food and markets, it is beautiful and educational in the day and lively in the evenings. Lots of great bars and restaurants, the perfect place to visit.

I went with my young adult son. It was a lot of fun and I was definitely scared more than once! Do be aware that there are spots where you have to hoist yourself up on different platforms and a fairly long tunnel that you have to climb on your hands and knees. Because of this, I don't recommend wearing shorts and/or a dress and DEFINITELY leave everything in the lockers provided. You will need both of your hands!

Very interesting tour, led by Maria, who took us through the workshop where she explained, very thoroughly, the process of creating stained glass pieces. She also took us through the history of the museum. We could also see people at work. Upstairs, Maria took us through more detail, in particular the painting process and the operation of the kiln. We then went into the gallery where we could see many famous pieces, fully explained and likewise the artists. There was also a temporary exhibition downstairs.

Inside Wawel castle - in the courtyard the visitor can find the Wawel Cathedral.
A beautiful building that was built originally in the 11th century and got expended over the centuries into what can be seen today.
The exterior and also the interior of the cathedral is showing a combination of architectural styles - ranging from gothic elements through baroque and neoclassical ... so for those of you who are into architecture for sure it will be very interesting.
Also what is interesting to visit is the crypt of the cathedral , inside the crypt it is allowed to take photos, inside the church itself, taking photos is forbidden ( and I mean really, no fee or anything, simply you are not allowed to take photos, so keep that in mind).
However you can climb the high tower of the church and take pictures of the bells there and once you reach the top level , there is a beautiful view from above.
The crypt is the final resting place of Polish Kings , poets , generals and there is also a memorial for those murdered in the Katyn massacre in 1939 (22000 polish officers, politicians and officials were killed by the invading Soviet army).
Overall a very interesting place - loaded with history - definitely worth paying the entry ticket - the only "annoying" thing is the "no pictures" policy. Still definitely worthy of a visit.

Awesome place! If you love games, definitely pay for a full day pass, as 1 hour isn't enough to really try out everything :)

The centre of Krakow’s Old Square and packed with market stalls inside the building, restaurants and bars on the outside, a museum and public toilets (small charge), this lovely old building is somewhere that a couple of hours or more can be easily spent. Very clean and well maintained and well worth a visit.

Unfortunately, the vibrant colors of the church can't be appreciated at the moment since it's being renovated. The certified copy of the Shroud of Turin is located in the Chapel of Passion, left-side-facing after the main entrance.
