Great fun. The local Irek was really helpful. We had never thrown an ax but still had a great time.

Arrived 30 minutes early to the centre as instructed and was told that a mistake had been made on their end and our booking was accidentally made for 4pm instead of 2pm. Staff were very apologetic about this and managed to get us in for 2.30pm and bumped us up 2 shooting packages for the mistake. Very thoughtful of them.

Actual shooting was great. Staff were professional and it was clear that safety was paramount throughout. Even got some photos for free holding the weapons at the end!

10/10 would recommend anyone travelling to Krakow to experience this.

I joined two Pub Crawls, the "normal" and the "alternate". I think both are just great!
In the first one you can party with loud music, meet people from all over the world and get the most out of Krakow nightlife scene.
A special shootout to Anna, the tour guide from Ukraine and also to Matt from Belgium, who both made my nights great.
They helped customer socialising with everyone and get them entertained.

We rented a mountain bike and electric bike for my wife. The owner was very diligent in making sure the bikes were ready and in good condition. He also made sure that the bikes "fit" well. The bikes were both in good condition on the ride, something that is not always the case when renting bikes in Krakow.
    Overall, an exceptionally good experience!

These guys were great! Super friendly, answered all my questions, made good suggestions, and fitted the bike I rented to my size (handlebars, seat, etc.) They even threw in a phone holder as I was traveling via bike out into the countryside (15-20 km).
I rented for the two weeks I was there, and they offered on-call service if I had any problems on the route.

I would definitely rent from them if ever I am again in Krakow.

My son LOVED it ! He was super excited and genuinely loved his experience. Living the dream. I had emailed from Scotland to book in as I didn't want to do a tour etc. So they (Maria) was super helpful and answered my questions and she was great with my son, answering his questions and giving him hints a tips. It was only around 20 mins in a taxi (we used Bolt) from Kraków's main square. Very reasonably priced, wish I had realised as I Would have booked him a bigger package. He done the Advanced shooter (suitable for teens) on the 4 guns and I am sure I was around £25. ! Told him if we go back to Poland (which we will) he can go again for longer. He said 'my friend's are going to be so jealous of me' haha great day ! Highly recommend!!

We have used Krakow Travel Time for a transfer from Krakow to Zakopane and then back to Krakow. Information were very clear from the first email exchange, they answered all of our questions quickly. Drivers were extremely kind and professional. Vans were clean and spacious. Reasonable price, taking into account the long transfer time. It is possible to pay cash or by card. Highly recommended.

We had arrived and were given immediate service (which is always a plus!) when given chances to take pictures with the axes we then went through to the throwing techniques and safety procedures. He had taught us how to throw and left us to hone our skills for the Mini-games he would later introduce. After being left alone to enjoy throwing axes by ourselves we were taught the games which were just a high score game (who can hit a higher score) and blackjack, I must say blackjack was slow at the start but we then were running to compete for the win. Overall the experience was excellent and the worker was very accommodating and friendly. I would recommend this experience for any krakow visitors!

Absolutely excellent service and communication throughout. Really flexible with how our group dynamics changed during booking, which included changing ALL activities when one of the group was no longer able to take part. Cannot recommend enough. Loads of activities available.

I booked a private tour for two people to Auschwitz.
Everything was perfect, Marga advised me which time was the best to visit Auschwitz and then we did so as she recommended. It was a unique experience, and all thanks to the very good organization.
Everybody should visit Auschwitz once in life, just to think about what happened at that place....

Has anyone done both tours before?
Do you think the former is worth doing?

I have done the tour with a guide - so i guess techncially i have gone on the "General tour 3.5h" or something similar, but i am only at Auschwitz 1 for 1.5h, and then we rushed to Auschwitz 2-Birkenau for 1h. i recently went on a organized tour from Krakow bc i couldnt secure guided tour ticket at the last minute from the website. but i think my guide may a person in training (?) cos he was guiding us with an Auschwitz educator standing beside him all the time. I still couldnt figure out whether he is a new guide in training within Auschwitz, or he needs to be chaperoned bc he is a guide hired from the 'outside' (ie not someone hired by the Aushcwitz site). I am inclined to believe it is the latter, but not sure, so would appreciate anyone with better insights. So this means there could be 2 diff guides - one is a tour agency guide from the outside, and another is a Auschwitz educator guide?
Answer: for future readers - I did the 6 hour tour and it is a better pace, smaller group and you visit a few more places in the camps. Our guide was very good. Worthwhile if you have more than a passing interest in the history. We were at Auschwitz for 3 hours and birkenau for 2.25 hours. Crowds were smaller that day so we didn’t have to stop to wait for other groups. I then returned to Auschwitz around 4pm to walk through on my own and to visit some of the country specific exhibits - Hungary’s exhibit is especially good. In order to return to camp 1, I purchased free tickets ahead of time since you have to renter the queue.

Tour vs self guided - 100% go on a tour. The guides paint a more complete picture than you will get from a guidebook. You can arrive early if you want to see birkenau before it gets crowded and walk on your own. No ticket is required to visit birkenau.

Auschwitz vs birkenau - you want to see both. Auschwitz is more intact and has almost all of the exhibits. The exhibits of luggage, eyeglasses, shoes, and human hair is overwhelming. Birkenau is 25x the size of Auschwitz camp 1. Many buildings were destroyed but you can get a better feel for the scale of the genocide. Even with most buildings destroyed you get a chill realizing how people were sorted and put to death. Many times within hours of arrival.

Krakow ghetto - to round out your experience walk through the ghetto and Jewish quarter. Visit the synagogues. Realize the size of the Jewish community that thrived in this area and then 90% of them were killed.

Last - learn about the history that led up to the holocaust. Hitler did not rise up in a vacuum. There were 20 years of anti-semitism that occurred before the death camps. The nazis were very good at isolating Jews, cutting them off from day to day community and business involvement and then eventually shipped them off to forced labor and death. Awareness of that history will help prevent this from ever happening again.
