I recently visited the Main Square in Kraków, and it was an incredible experience! The square is huge and full of life. There are so many beautiful buildings to admire, like the Cloth Hall and St. Mary's Basilica. The architecture is stunning, and you can feel the history all around you.

I loved sitting at one of the outdoor cafes, sipping coffee and people-watching. There are always street performers and musicians adding to the lively atmosphere. It’s also a great spot for photos, especially with the horse-drawn carriages passing by.

The Main Square is also a great place to start exploring Kraków. It's close to many other attractions and has plenty of shops and restaurants around. I highly recommend visiting if you’re in the city. It's truly the heart of Kraków!

It is surrounded by a lovely park, where one can relax, read, go cycling. Well preserved buildings and some churches all around old town. There are souvenir shops, restaurants and horse carriages adding to the local folklore. There is also a big arcade with shops selling mostly amber. In the beginning of June, when I visited the city, there were many tourists in the area(but not so many as to become a nuissance) although the weather was not warm. So, I guess, this is when it is considered a good time to visit and enjoy. The place is easily accessible by tram connections and has a lively atmosphere. It was a positive experience and I would like to visit again sometimes in future, because it is not a small area and one can enjoy more visits.

The Royal Castle on Wawel hill was established at the times of King Casimir III the Great (14th century). It was enlarged over the centuries around an Italian-styled courtyard. It shows several styles from Romanesque, to Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque. It was the seat of Polish kings until 1609, when the capital was moved to Warsaw.

Today the castle hosts a museum, with several paintings, statues, porcelains, silverware and items from the far east. I found the paintings collection quite interesting, and the state rooms were also good. The collections of porcelains (both European and Far Eastern) and the silverware collections are - according to me - not so interesting as the paintings.

I did the Into The Darkness experience and was expecting an experience geared towards children but I was wrong. I found it amazing and was guided and educated by the wonderful Szymon about daily life experienced by those with limited vision. Really recommend this to everyone.

Central shopping location in Old Town in a huge central square. It was a cloth and trade hall, but is now almost exclusively a tourist shopping hub along with some eateries as well. Good to see and walk through, but you'll get more out of it on a tour or reading ahead about it.

Great experience to see so many 'cold war' airplanes, not only from Poland but also from other European countries and the US. Some of my favourites: MIG-29, Harrier and Starfighter, but many, many more great planes, some rockets, engines and much more. I really enjoyed this visit, it brought the boy-in-me back :-)

This is so much fun! We'd seen it online but visiting it was a spur of the moment decision as we walked past it. It's a little bit hidden, but it is SO worth it. You pay for 30 minutes or an hour and play as much as you want. We didn't even realise there was another second space of machines until our hour was up!

You could absolutely take older kids and teens here and they'd have a great time as well.

Been visiting this place everytime I have been in krakow since we first found it a few years ago. It's a great almagation of new and old arcade games for all ages. I love taking my kids here. Only downside is you have to be a bit early because how popular it is in the evening. The personell is great and knowledgeable about games. Great english skills so you can communicate even as a tourist.

Interesting underground museum especially of the digging up. I would say it is for more children than adults as lots of interactions for kids there. It is dark as others commented. We went on the free day Tuesday so was worth it.

Beautiful during both day and night. Frequently busy as it is a way into the main town. Oddly felt safe, even at night time as there are still plenty of people about.
