Amazingly comprehensive view and experience of life in Krakow before and during WWII. I would highly recommend 3-4 hours to go through this museum. It includes information about Schindler and doesn’t paint him as a saint. The museum focuses more on the lives of the employees and the Jewish community in general. GREAT MUSEUM!!!

It was a very lovely place to sit and have a picnic, we participated in the Dragon’s den but avoided any others due to strict budgeting. Great castle though, very unique and nothing like the one’s in Britain where my friends and I are from.

Mix of an escape room and horror house. The scares are nothing over the top and the hands on contact wasn't rough (pink vers), just hand on shoulders or forearm guiding you through the dark at times if you're 'taken' so it all felt very controlled and safe. Overall great little giggle to have with a group

"Kościół Mariacki" (Mary's Church) is in Krakow main square (Rynek Główny), and is part of the UNESCO heritage site "Historic Centre of Kraków" since 1978.

It is in Brick Gothic style, and it was built in the 14th century, over an older church founded in 1222. Side chapels were added in the 15th century, and in the 18th century the interior was rebuilt in the late Baroque style. In 1887–1891 the neo-Gothic style was introduced, and new murals and stained glass windows were added, by Polish artists Jan Matejko, Stanisław Wyspiański and Józef Mehoffer.

The main altar has a stunning wooden altarpiece that was carved between 1477 and 1489 by sculptor Veit Stoss.

The "into the dark" tour with Simon was fantastic and interesting. He guided us through several pitch black rooms where we experienced how a blind person lives their life, learning to use other senses to navigate the world. Enthusiastic, kind and funny, Simon was an amazing guide and we had a great time.

We visited and had the tour. The guide was knowledgeable and answered all the groups questions. The tour was about an hour and then we visited the free exhibit below. There were steps and stairs to get to and around the tour.

Also on site are toilets, a small café and gift shop.

It was one of the highlights of our holiday

Central shopping location in Old Town in a huge central square. It was a cloth and trade hall, but is now almost exclusively a tourist shopping hub along with some eateries as well. Good to see and walk through, but you'll get more out of it on a tour or reading ahead about it.

This is so much fun! We'd seen it online but visiting it was a spur of the moment decision as we walked past it. It's a little bit hidden, but it is SO worth it. You pay for 30 minutes or an hour and play as much as you want. We didn't even realise there was another second space of machines until our hour was up!

You could absolutely take older kids and teens here and they'd have a great time as well.

The current Gothic cathedral is the third edifice on this site; the first was built and destroyed in the 11th century; the second one, constructed in the 12th century, was destroyed by a fire in 1305. The construction of the existing church began in the 14th century. It served as the coronation site of Polish monarchs.

There is a mandatory convoluted visit route that makes you miss an overall idea of the church. Several side chapels are encountered along the route, the best of which are two frescoed Gothic chapels at the end, before going to the crypts.
Several royal tombs are present, both in the church and in the crypts. In addition, the crypts have several tombs of statemen and famous Polish personalities.

The climb to the Sigismund bell consists of over 130 steps on a narrow steep stair, and apart from the 500 years old bell, you have a very good view over the city from the top of the tower.

Entrance ticket to the Wawel Cathedral entitles also to visit the Cathedral crypts, the Sigismund tower and bell, and the Wawel Cathedral Museum.

Been visiting this place everytime I have been in krakow since we first found it a few years ago. It's a great almagation of new and old arcade games for all ages. I love taking my kids here. Only downside is you have to be a bit early because how popular it is in the evening. The personell is great and knowledgeable about games. Great english skills so you can communicate even as a tourist.

Interesting underground museum especially of the digging up. I would say it is for more children than adults as lots of interactions for kids there. It is dark as others commented. We went on the free day Tuesday so was worth it.

The "Bazylika Franciszkanow" (Franciscan Basilica) in Krakow is one of the most beautiful churches of the city. The church was consecrated in 1249, and it was significantly expanded during the first half of the 15th century. In 1850 a fire affected the church. It is in the Brick Gothic style.
Several works by Stanisław Wyspiański are in this church: stained glass windows, and paintings in the choir and transept.
