- Paul2 contributionsIt's a slow, scenic, romantic trip down the river. Transportation from Krakow with our driver Tom was easy and comfortable. The river guide didn't speak English, but it didn't matter to us. Lunch afterwards at Szczawnica was terrific, outdoor with a view of the river. Highly recommend the Pontoon rafting on the Dunajec river - beautiful picturesque views. Zakopane also with picture postcard views and shops. Wojtek also kindly stopped us to see a castle and a traditional wooden church. An added unforgettable experience. We then finished the trip with a stop to try some traditional cheese. The perfect end to the day. Would recommend this trip to anyone visiting krakow who wants to see more of Poland. It is truly beautiful - the car ride alone was worth every penny! Great service all round and a day we won’t forget.
