The 1 hour Chopin piano recital held here was the best thing we did in Kracow. It was a magical evening, in a venue full of old world charm. The hall is not big, but more like a salon lined with beautiful pictures, paintings and little touches that transport you to the world of Chopin. We were given a glass of white wine/Polish beer each.
Please don't buy tickets on a 3rd party platform like "Get your guide." Instead go to the website for Kracow Concerts and book there - there are better offers on their own website, and they'll help you get the best package. Also other platforms often don't pay the organisers on time.
We couldn't attend on the date we booked, but the organisers insisted we come the next day and enjoy what we paid for!
Go early as it takes a couple of minutes to find the venue on a busy street.

We attended this performance yesterday evening. Not many people attended the concert, but this made the musicians connect more with the audience. The lead 1st Violinist was especially good, utilizing his violin to do some very cool tricks. The concert itself was very good playing some classical and film music. The setting is also nice with lots of paintings surrounding the walls.

At €15 per person, I fully recommend this and will be returning (if in Krakow again) for the second part of the program.

This was such a beautiful experience, I cannot recommend it highly enough! The venue is small so you really get an intimate concert. We went for the Choping concert. The pianist, Radosław Goździkowski played wonderfully some famous and less known Chopin pieces: Nocturnes, Mazurkas, Polonaise... High quality music so moving it brings tears to the eyes.
We were welcomed into the place very pleasantly and had a wonderful time. The venue has air conditioning and is clean, well managed.
I don’t think it’s possible to not enjoy it, even if you are not into classical music.

The Nowa Huta Cultural Center is a 'hidden gem' in Krakow if you’re fond of remarkable exhibitions. During our three-day stay in Krakow, the exhibition of Zdzislaw Beksinski was high on the wish list. When we arrived we found out that the exhibition was closed due to COVID-19. Thats when we discovered what “Polish hospitality” means; the friendly security guards took all the efforts and made a private visit to the exhibition possible. They showed real commitment and sensitivity for the service they provided. The works on display of Beksinski are beautifully detailed and impressive. The other exhibitions (Duda Gracz and Monika Palki) were also a real treat. As an extra, you can see gems of street art around the building. A more than successful day!

This is always a nice place to go to during the day time before going on to have something to eat, during the daytime you can enjoy a nice cool drink whilst sitting outside in the sun watching people go by

I was in a Drag Queen Revue. I havn't known that this kind of art can look so amazing. I was impressed with that view, it was more like a spectacle than revue. Well prepared every part was completly different, comedy, drama, magic show and stand up combined with lights, scenography and music made this all show unique and I will attend it more :)

Booked show online after searching for folk dance show with a meal. Both the show and meal better than expected. Meal great for price and on the night they catered for my vegetarian option. Lovely staff too.

We saw Janusz Skowron perform September 24, 2019. He was excellent. His performance included challenging pieces such as the Ballade in F minor and the Waltzes in E-flat major and D-flat major that sent shivers up my back.
There was a brief, entertaining pre-concert talk on the life and music of Chopin.
This was part of a regularly scheduled concert series. Concerts are usually held Tuesdays and Fridays (but this week’s Friday performance was cancelled).
Concerts start at 19:30. Tickets are available at the door from 18:30. Doors open 10’ before the concert.
The room holds under 100 people. The night we were there, it was close to capacity. Sight lines may be compromised depending on where one sits as there is no raised stage, but acoustically it is fine, albeit a very live room.
    There is a short intermission.
They have a roster of pianists that regularly play these concerts. Skowron is a professor of piano performance at the Kraków Music Academy and elsewhere, and does not appear to be one of the regular performers. We were fortunate to hear his performance and the entire experience was a treat.
