The museum contains a huge range of artefacts and leads the visitor through the different eras of Kracow’s history. Very helpful way to learn more about Nazi occupation and Schindler’s role in the war.

The only problem was that too many people were visiting at once. It was overcrowded and stuffy, difficult to read notices on the walls because tour guides were speaking to groups lined up against every wall. Unfortunately this detracted from the impact of the exhibits and made it hard to take everything in.

I did the ‘Into the Dark’ experience and couldn’t recommend it more. It brought a bit of perspective into what life must be like as a blind person. The guides were both great (particularly Matheus, given it was his first English tour).

My partner and I purchased the English 3 hour workshop tour and it was one of our favourite experiences of entire trip in Poland. Our guide Iza was informative, super friendly and patient. Stepping us through the stain glass making process helped us to create our own beautiful souvenirs (believe it or not our glass survived the 20+ hour trip home!). It also helped us to gain excellent perspective on all the stain glass we saw during the remainder of our trip.

It is awesome to know about the collaborative work that still happens to this day to make the most stunning pieces and the possibilities for stained glass in modern Poland.

Thank you to Iza and everyone else at MuWi for making our time in Kraków magical.

Very interesting and large exhibition of all things aviation in Polish history.
Particularly enjoyed the second world war exhibition. Really excellent way to spend a morning.
And very easy to reach by tram.

I found this gem by accident. Lego blocks lovers will love exhibition/coffee/shop. We spent about 2 hours and bought Christmas presents too (good price).

If you love pinball and vintage gaming in general you will love this place!! Would recommend getting the day pass as time really does fly by. Such a great array of games and a super chilled atmosphere. Small cafe at the top of the stairs too (not by the same place) which was useful for a break. I would definitely come here again next time I'm in Krakow.

Was incredible fun. The staff member on hand was very positive and happy to welcome me and my friend into the arcade. We had a blast on all the old retro games and new age games I had no idea existed. When we left Matthew gave us a gift of a key ring because we enjoyed it so much. The man deserves a raise! Would recommend for all travelling to Krakow good fun and affordable pricing.

We had some free time so decided to visit , very cheap and was surprisingly interesting
It’s not obvious where you should go and some things seem in off order but section on how museum was constructed is really good
Worth a visit if you’re at a loose end but don’t make this a “must see”

We visited here on our last day to pass some time. Little did we know how good it was or how big it actually was.

Fantastic insight into the history of the square you were standing or sitting in 10 mins before you entered the museum.

Fascinating glimpse into how the square started, developed, and has now become.

My only criticism is the lighting when trying to read any info, not is very dim and can be difficult, but that aside, we loved it.

We stumbled across the museum by accident and we were glad we did. Only 60zl entry for both my sister and I. The owner was lovely and gave us a guided tour of the exhibits, with lots of history and fascinating facts included. Would definitely recommend!! Very friendly and happy to answer all of our questions!! Thank you.

The "Barbican" dates back to the 1400s and was once part of the medieval walls and fortifications of the city.

Today it is still an impressive building.

There is a small museum inside.

The Galicia Jewish Museum tells the stories of the Galician Jews through photos. There is an exhibit of photos taken by the museum's founder when he visited Poland in 1981. The permanent exhibit consists of photos which document Jewish life and buildings in Galicia today. I like this juxtaposition of two photos in the photo I posted. On the left, you can see the grave of 7 people, 6 Jews and the Catholic Pole who hid them during the Nazi occupation. On the right, you can see a stable no one will buy because Polish collaborators in the farmhouse on that property attacked Jews and turned them into the Nazis, who murdered them.

We had not heard of this place nor of Tadeusz Pankiewicz, an undoubted Polish hero of WWII.

Very informative and charming museum and, by chance, we visited on Wednesday when it is free.

    Recommended.
