Managed to get up this tower in our last day.
Tickets were cheap (think it came to about £7 for 1 adult and 1 student to go up)
Views were very good at the top, practically a 360 view. However sadly you can’t go out onto the balcony at the top, I assume because the fence is too low.
Great information inside about the history of krakow, worth a visit if you can handle lots of uneven stairs!

The tower is nothing extraordinary but the fact that you have the opportunity to climb steps after steps to visit each floor and see how this tower was used is outstanding. The views are also a great bonus. Try it if you have strength.

The entrance to the Tower is on the left hand side of the Basilica.
The ticket office that sells the tickets for the Bugle Tower is in a separate building - on the right hand side of the Basilica, about 20 metres from it (Plac Mariacki 7) - you will spot it when you look around. Cash only. Tickets are 15zl (adult).
(Don't buy the tickets at the door leading to the Basilica - they're for an entry to the Basilica)
The door that leads to the Tower is locked after each tour and then when the next tour is about to start, a man arrives and unlocks it and lets people in.
The views from the Tower over Krakow are amazing!
